It has been nearly 2 years since the death of my 64 year old mother as a result of an unfortunate trauma that led to 2 months in the ICU, during which time this awful being (any word that suggest he has the qualities of being human would be terribly misleading) was responsible for overseeing her care. For 2 months she laid in a hospital bed, paralyzed from the neck down, a tracheostomy tube preventing her from speaking, enduring one complication after another and taking each day in stride and the least offensive thing this man said around- not to- any of us (because having to speak to family members of patients is very clearly an annoyance and an exercise in stupidity for him) was about his lunch. As my mother's most devout advocate, I did my best to stay informed and was fortunate to work with a number of truly wonderful doctors and nurses as we did our very best to keep her spirit high and her care continuous. When she passed, I saw Dr. Yuschack in the elevator-just he and I- and he said nothing. I wish I had taken the opportunity to tell him all of these things then, but given the heartless rat of a doctor he is, it would have fallen on deaf ears. I couldn't agree more with previous reviews to avoid any interaction with this man. He is a disgrace to the field and will forever be a part of one of the saddest stories of my life.

Emotionally labile and unprofessional. Would recommend avoiding this surgeon for any elective procedure if possible, and be wary if he is assigned as your trauma surgeon in the hospital.

I saw this Doctor on 9/21/2008 he treated me for broken ribs. I only saw him twice but both times he was rude--and very unprofessional. On my office visit when I asked him how many ribs I broke in the car accedent-- I was told that "I Don't Know I dont count broken ribs". He was unwilling to discuss my case at all-- all he said was that he was going on vacation and did not have time for me. I question his chargeing practices as all of my insurance providers have been billed for services more than one time. DO NOT USE THIS DOCTOR IF YOU WANT TO KNOW ANYTHING ABOUT YOUR CASE!!!!

This doctor is arrogant and unprofessional. The surgery he performed resulted in complications which necessitated another procedure and resulted in a lengthy hospital stay. His attitude regarding this mess centered on his culpability rather than the patient's condition.
