I actually had a really bad experience with this doctor. He talked as if I was the main problem in my inability to conceive. It never seemed to occur to him that the male factor I was dealing with was a huge challenge. He's got awful bedside manner.

Horrible. Have a a bill for services I didn't receive and was sent to do so many unnecessary tests. Sorry I didnt read the reviews before booking appointment. Mind u, I never met him, a simple phone call n high bill.

I was on the pill since I was 14 for severe dysmenorrhea. When I was 27 I went off it and discovered I had PCOS only after being seen at this office. I was able to see on the ultrasound in office that my eggs had formed cysts. I was put back on the pill for management. I went back to see them a year later for follow up and to tell them I was curious if there were any better treatments for PCOS. I was told if you don't want to conceive there's no reason to be seen by their practice. Apparently managing your reproductive health despite not being ready to conceive isn't a factor. I'm confused by that mentality. I've never been back.

Compassionate and honest. Dr. Somkuti is a professional. He helps you navigate this emotionally stress filled process and takes the time to explain your options. He not only listens but hears what you have to say which is very comforting. We would highly recommend him and the kind staff in this practice.

Dr. Somkuti either intentionally gives unnecessary treatments to patients or else doesn’t look at medical records regularly enough to understand what should be done at the time. I had to seek a second opinion to verify what I suspected - he either deliberately risked my health and wasted my time and money or was merely incompetent. Either way, I recommend getting treatment elsewhere.

Terrible experience with the treatment, He will order a multiple blood tests on husband and wife and completely ignore previous history of first child birth. The office staff is rude. There is no compassion in their office. I forcefully resisted their invasive testing and went for a simple clomid pill for the first 4 months and got pregnant but I wont recommend this office to any other would be mother. If you go to his office you will end up with lot of physical and emotional pain.

Very friendly and knowledgeable. Always spent time to ask if I had any questions and explain everything. Dr. Somkuti was not my normal physician in the practice, but he did perform one of my more painful procedures and was very compassionate and understanding. I LOVE everyone I've interacted with in this practice, nurses, receptionists, and doctors are all wonderful.

Terrible ignorant doctor. Has no clue how to treat patients but just to ise the same protocol for everyone. Do not go there

I have been a patient of Dr Somkuti for many years. He has a such a vast amount of knowledge not only in reproductive gyn issues but also odd endocrine issues . He is a compassionate caring person. I have seen many doctors in big well known hospitals in Philadelphia that did not have the knowledge Dr Somkuti has. These well known doctors treated me like I was crazy because my symptoms were odd. Dr Somkuti always listened and told me I know my body better then anyone else and my symptoms did not sound crazy to him. He was easy to talk to and made me feel very comfortable unlike many other doctors i have seen. He always has a big smile and is very warm and welcoming. He did not rush me out of his office. He went above and beyond explaining everything to me. When no one else would help or listen he did. He found the problems/issues that were making me sick and helped me.. When I called his office for a appointment they got me in right away to see him. Thanks to Dr Somkuti -- I am now able to live life for the first time in many years.

Very compassionate yet technically seasoned. Dr. Somkuti is the best out there.
