Exceptional doctor. He operated on my hand to remove a mass and bone spurs and also treated my husband for a hand injury. He has a great bedside manner, he's very professional and knowledgeable and is just a kind person. We both highly recommend him.
HE CARES tks.
Had 4 prior surgeries with another Dr. For a ganglion cyst and it kept coming back. Then the fifth time i went to Dr. Palmer and he the cyst and they never came back. By the time i want to Dr. Palmer i had nerve damage to my hand and wrist from the cysts coming back and the surgery he performed was a success.
Dr Palmer is a wonderful surgeon and in this world of google drs I would recommend him to anyone and everyone.
He doesn't take time to figure out his own diagnoses. Whatever his fellow suggests he goes with. He's knife happy. First he wanted to remove a bone because he was sure it was this problem then he wanted to cut something saying it was something completely different. Both were based solely on the fellow's word and not doing an exam himself or thinking for himself. Don't trust this guy. Go somewhere else
I first went and the fellow that examined me made a diagnoses and went and shared it with Palmer. Palmer came in and immediately wanted to operate going on the fellow's diagnosis and not doing an exam. The next time I went and said the last diagnosis was wrong a different fellow did the exam and said something else. Again Palmer came in later saying he needed to operate and do x,y,z. Excuse me? Last time you were sure it was what that fellow said and now it's what this fellow says. How about another fellow to give a different diagnosis! Don't trust a doctor that can't do his own diagnosing and wants to always go to the ER.
Dr Palmer had very nice bedside manner, was unhurried, kind & listened. My 93 yr old Mom had been in severe pain due to arthritis & was pain free 24hr later after cortisone injections. She is a new person, because of your services & was able to get an appt within 24hrs. She had to wait a month everywhere else I called.
This doctor is an excellent doctor. He takes time to explain treatment, tells you exactly what and how he plans to do it. Is a very gentle doctor which is important after you've had surgery. I highly recommend him.
My father amputated his thumb with a saw and was taken to AGH. Dr. Palmer came into try to attempt a reattachment. He was very thorough with his explanation of the procedure and the options that could result once surgery began. Excellent bedside manner, true concern and compassion. After the surgery, reviewed the outcomes and expectations with me in great detail. Although there was too much damage to save my father's thumb, I know Dr. Palmer did everything possible. I would highly recommend him and AGH. The nurses were wonderful as well!!

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
