He was the best Doctor.
BERGER IS THE ABSOLUTE BEST!! He did an amazing job on my sons club feet! He walks, runs, jumps and bounces like any other 2year old should!! I was so worried and stressed about everything and he made me and my son feel totally comfortable and confident in his expertise ! I can't thank you enough Dr. Berger THANK YOU THANK YOU AND TO YOUR WHOLE Staff! Love the ladies at the front desk
Dr Berger treated my son’s fracture. He was knowledgeable and attentive, listening to my concerns. I would definitely go back to him should the need arise.
Long overdue review. My husband and I have 3 separate experiences w/Dr. Berger and he Is one of the few orhodpods in the Lehigh Valley we would trust. After successfully helping my husband through a broken collar bone (vehicular crash), my husband returned with a broken ankle to see a different orthopedic surgeon. That physician took one look at the hairline fracture and recommended surgery. Concerned, my husband asked to see Dr. Berger who put him in a walking cast. My husband Is pretty athletic and was back on his feet in no time without the complications of surgery! I also had an excellent experience with Dr. Berger. He listens to your concerns and takes appropriate action to mend bodies. We STRONGLY recommend him to those we care about. Our only concern is that his practice is now owned by LVH and our experience is that they place unnecessary pressures and expectations on physicians that often aren't in the best interests of patients.
Treated both of my daughters, one having surgery after her 2nd break. He always addressed my concerns and questions answering them honestly and in a way that I understood what he was talking about considering I am not a Doctor :)
Disappointed and surprised by their brief "over-the-phone" diagnosis of my 9 year-old son's condition and their insistence on referring us to an alternate provider. Our PCP referred us to Dr. Berger so that he could review our son's symptoms and medical records in relation to suspected vertebral injury. The scheduler referred me to Children's Hospital of Philadelphia. Next, she referred me to Advanced Spine Center in Allentown. Confused, I attempted to clarify my son's symptoms and our doctor's recommendation. The scheduler consulted with Dr. Berger offline. She called back to inform me that Dr. Berger had reviewed our son's X-rays and would not permit us to make an appointment. They suggested we visit a Pediatric Rheumatologist. It was a rather unprofessional engagement but perhaps I caught them on a bad day.In the end we made an appointment with Dr. Dunne at Orthopedic Associates in Allentown. She is outstanding. Her bedside manner with our young son was warm and sincere. We are grateful for her expertise. The entire OAA Team was professional and efficient. I highly recommend OAA.
I have 1 child with osteoporosis and another child who is just clumsy. We have alot of broken bones around here! Dr. Berger is always patient and thorough and we wouldn't go anywhere else.
Dr Berger treated my sons ankle injury like it wasn't a big deal, neglected to inform us of the severity of the sprain and said he could walk on it whenever he felt comfortable. He handed him an orthopedic show for an ankle injury and recommended a follow up in 2-4 weeks. Since his diagnoses didn't sit right with me considering the amount of pain my son was in I decided to take him elsewhere where he was diagnosed with a 3rd degree sprain. The care we received at VSAS by Dr. Berger was subpar.
My experience with Dr Berger was excellent . I have worked in healthcare over 40yrs. Dr. Berger was so patient with me.. I had a crazy accident breaking both my ulna/radius near the wrist. Immediately I was taken to see Dr. He explained what surgery would be like and what to expect. Surgery was a success.. I recommend Dr . to anyone who needs trauma surgery. He is the most compassionate Dr. I have met.. Kudos Dr.Berger
16 years ago when I was 5 I broke my tibia and fibula riding my bike, both bones came out of the skin. I was taken to LVH and saw Dr. Berger it took 3 surgeries and he was there every step of the way he's got amazing bedside manner calming down a 5 year old and my overprotective nurse mother. Would HIGHLY recommend

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
