David Faugno Fusci's Online Review Report Card

I saw Dr Fusco for degenerative discs in my neck. His intelligence and knowledge is very obvious as we talked. I never felt rushed, his follow through is complete. You WILL be called back. His entire office is outfitted with the latest in technology. He seems perfectly suited for his chosen field. His staff is very cordial and efficient. Very grateful to have found Dr Fusco because I will one day need his surgical skills and expertise.

I recently had TLIF surgery with Dr. Fusco. I am currently 14 weeks post-op. I wanted to make sure that I wrote this to help others. Back surgery is serious business, and I saw many of doctors in the past, and kept putting it off, I just didn't feel comfortable with any of them! Dr. Fusco was a different story from the first consultation I was so impressed, he was so detailed, patient and really seemed to care. I knew he understood my pain and didn't just brush it off. So far it was the best decision I made. I still haven't been able to get out and really enjoy my new back, due to getting COVID recently. So I am just starting to bounce back from that hiccup! I can't wait to get out and enjoy the things I did pre-back issues! Thank you Dr. Fusco for being you! For those that are on the fence about getting surgery, talk with Dr. Fusco, he will put you at ease..I promise! He is a class act!

Dr. David Fusco operated on me June 4, 2020. He performed an anterior lumbar interbody fusion (L5-S1; Tiger Wood’s surgery). He was very thorough and detailed in his approach. He is very skilled and caring. That can be an unusual combination in this day and age. The hospital staff had nothing but excellent comments about Dr. Fusco!! The hospital staff sees many doctors and how they treat their patients. Everyone at Barrows was very professional and understood my pain. I just had my one year follow up appointment. I am back to working out at the gym; hiking; starting to play pickleball again, and playing with my 9 year old grandson!! Thank you Dr. Fusco

Two years ago my mom had a spinal fusion (ended up being a very lengthy surgery and difficult recovery). I was with her at every doctor appointment and at the hospital daily. Dr. Fusco was beyond amazing. I really can’t say enough about him. He impressed us both with his caring for the entire patient (not just the particular issue he was treating). He took his time answering our questions and he was never in a rush to speed along the conversations at her appointments or in the hospital during recovery. He makes his patients and their families feel cared for and heard. If only every doctor could be this wonderful *sigh*. Do not hesitate with Dr. Fusco. He’s a brilliant doctor and surgeon, and a great person.

Dr. Fusco is extremely talented and dedicated to his work. Only wish I had decided to see him sooner. Incredible expertise was required to even consider performing a laminectomy on my spine. I am forever grateful to him and his equally talented nurse practitioners. God bless them all.

Dr.Fusco is the best neurosurgeon. I broke my C-2 vertebrae in August 2018. In mid-November, Dr. Fusco performed an operation for me. He spent nine hours screwing the broken bone together, and after a year of recovery, it has now fully recovered. Dr. Fusco is a very attentive, patient and caring doctor. He answers the patient's questions in a detailed and gentle manner, and treats the patient’s family in the same way. I am very grateful to him. Thank you so much Dr.Fusco

I am writing 2.5 years post-surgery on a "massive" herniated disc ( L5-S1). I am enjoying life as I did before such a devastating injury at the age of 25. I choose Dr. Fusco because of his extremely detailed answers to my many questions. I never felt rushed and sensed he was genuine. He gave very thorough pre/post op instructions. Another patient's family said the same good things in the waiting room at the Hospital before surgery to my family! I recommend him If you the same anxiety I had.

Dr. Fusco was extremely helpful in reassessing my spine following surgery in another state. He clarified my misunderstanding of residual spinal stenosis, in addition to referring me for help within Barrow with other difficulties. He was informative, patient and very kind, and lowered my level of anxiety.

Dr. Fusco is one of the most AMAZING, thorough, intelligent, compassionate physicians that I have ever been to in my 62 years. I know that I am in good hands with him. He is the BEST!!! I am so grateful that he is taking care of my spine issues, now. I wish that he would have been my surgeon originally. He is a total professional.

Written reviews of doctors should have little effect on which to choose. In my opinion, a doctor should make you feel at ease when you are one on one with them. You should not feel intimidated, condescended, hurried,or unsure during your time with the doctor. I chose, and you do have a choice, Dr. Fusco to perform cervical spine surgery for me. First visit after imaging, he spent nearly two hours describing my issues and how he would surgically repair the damage. A year later I am pleased !
