Glen C Jacob's Online Review Report Card

Doctor had inaccurate data on first visit. When calling in for medication directions staff refused to repeat directions saying I could read them on the meds but when meds arrived there were no directions. Left questions on online portal three times awaiting an answer. The overall impression is of an inefficient staff that does not process data correctly and is neither trained nor supervised.

Dr. Jacob has performed three surgeries for me and in each case I found him to be outstanding. His skill is unmatched. Beyond that, his concern for my healthy recovery and well being was phenomenal. I would recommend Dr. Jacob wholeheartedly.

I dont know much about other doctors but I called this office for an urgent appointment because of a swollen knee and I couldnt walk. They told me they were booked out for a month but when the receptionist knew I was in so much pain she asked me to hold on and talked to Dr jacob who asked me to come in right away and he would see me during his lunch break. I went in and he drained my knee and I immediately felt better. He then gave me his cell phone number and asked me to call him later in the day to let him know how I was doing. He apologized for the short visit - no apology needed ! The office staff and everyone there were all such nice and compassionate people.

One of the best doctors I've ever been to. Listens to what you have to say and is very personable. Seems to be concerned with your health and does his homework before appointments. They don't get much better.

was referred to him by my primary doctor; he seems very approachable. i had a swollen wrist and was going on vacation and didnt want to start any medicine until i came back- he gave me his cell phone number to call him if I had any questions while on vacation ! Office staff is very very helpful and nice.

Not a very good first visit. Spent 5 min. Or less I hope 2 visit goes better.I am in alot of pain. Can't understand how he got rated so high.

I woke up with a swollen knee and unbearable pain; I could not walk on it and called my primary doctor who referred me to a rheumatologist in Crofton- but they could not get me in for 3 months; I called another doctor in glen burnie but they didnt deal with my insurance. I called my primary care doctor again and they asked me to try dr jacobs. I called his office and they said they could not get me in for a month, but the receptionist -judy listened to my story and asked me to hold while she spoke to the doctor; she then told me that he would see me before he left for the day if i could wait - i therefore went to the office and at 5 pm, when he was done with his other patients, he took me in, said i may have gout and drained a cup full of pus from my knee and immediately i felt better. I am writing this review because i think this doctor has something different from most other doctors- he seems human and compassionate; I was truly thankful that he waited to see me before leaving

excellent physician- appears compassionate; was diagnosed as having Rheumatoid arthritis by him - he started me on treatment promptly and i am pleased with the care i receive; would definitely recommend him to my family;

My wife has been in so much pain. We have been to Dr. Ashok's office twice and only the first time there she felt confident, that lasted a day. My wife has called just yesterday to speak with Dr. Ashok and she was told he would return her call. Well she waited patiently in pain and no return call was received. I do not know much about medicine or protocol in this situation. I do know that when you go into a doctor's office you should leave confident in the patient care you receive. My wife's name is Wendy Soto she is in excruciating pain and she sleeps 2 hours a night. She takes Celebrex, Prednisone and Percocet.None of which work. My wife is becoming discouraged so I'm asking for treatment not medication in this matter. We have a 5 year old daughter who doesn't understand why mommy's in pain and her hair is falling out. very friendly doctor. I am comfortable asking him any question. I went to him for synvisc injections and he took time to explain why it was appropriate for me, without rushing the visit. I will recommend him to my friends.
