Worst experience ever! Caused me permanent damage that lead to a surgery. Run!

Dr. Avellini is amazing. She makes sure you are always comfortable and she makes rooms for all questions. She recently did surgery on me and she explained everything to great detail I did not have any doubts of what was getting done. She was very helpful while I recovered too. In all my visits I’ve had great experiences

I would not recommend Dr Avellini to anyone. Based on some other reviews I’ve read, she is a terrible doctor. I was supposed to have an appointment with her early on in my pregnancy, but she cancelled it. When I tried to call the office back to reschedule, I tried for two days and could not get an answer from anyone and it resulted in a missed appointment. This was frustrating for me as I had some important questions planned for that visit in regards to starting baby aspirin for my high blood pressure to avoid preeclampsia. Had I been able to ask her those questions, I probably would have started taking the aspirin sooner, leaving me with a better chance to be able to deliver my daughter naturally without being induced. She has now cancelled a second appointment. I will no longer be excepting care from this doctor. She clearly does not care about her patients.

Dr Jami Avellini delivered my baby in a very non professional way. My due date was june12 but because of gestational diabetes dr Cancel said we will do one week early on june 6. I said ok. I had an appointment with dr Cancel on May 25. She said you are ready for delivery but i hadn't any contractions. She sent me to the hospital. ST Lukes hospital staff admitted me and put on antibiotic penicillin drips. At the end of the day Dr Jami Avellini came and she said there is no room available today. Come tomorrow on May 26. I was very disappointed. I still didn't feel any contractions but dr Jami Avellini said i am not available on June 6 so it will be better to do it tomorrow because i am available on May 26. She broke my water bag with her hands without telling me that it will be painful and i should take epidural. She did my delivery before my due date. My family is suggesting me that i should sue them for their hideous behavior. Her staff also does not know how to inject. They had to take my blood for tests. 1st nurse came and injected on my wrong vein. Then she took my left arm and again put syringe in wrong vein. Then she called another nurse and they both injected my both arms like they are not arms ,they are toys. I had so much pain. Then they called third nurse and she also repeated the same process.They took tests but forget to tell you. While pregnant i had severe uti, they took test but didn't call when results come. I waited for whole week than i called them and asked them about results and medicine. They said we forgot to tell you in a very non professional way.i have a very terrible experience with both doctors dr Jami Avellini and dr Cancel waleska both are terrible. I will never ever recommend these both doctors to anyone.

I had my first appt. with her last week. I liked her very much. I heard a lot of good things about her before I made the appt. She answered all my questions about the stuff I was worried about. I would recommend her to women who are looking for an ob/gyn.

She truly cares about each and everyone of her patients! She is wonderful and has a lot of knowledge!

I have been going to Dr Avellini for the last 5 years, she delivered my youngest which is now 4. She has always been very attentive to my needs and condition. I have always felt comfortable with her.
