5 stars doesn't do her justice. Not only is she an excellent psychiatrist, she is also one of the best medical doctors I've ever had.Dr. Johnson is helping me get through a worsening neurological condition and the emotional consequences. My neurologist dropped the ball and she ordered necessary testing and has made recommendations to specialized clinics I need to go to.

I cannot begin to say what Dr. Karen M. Johnson has done for me, and for my family. I spent 20+ years being misdiagnosed, before being lucky enough to find Dr. Johnson. I have had many difficulties finding the right medications (allergies, side effects etc.), and have had changes and fluctuations in my biochemistry and hormones. Dr. Johnson has been on top of it all the entire time. She is up on the latest therapies and medications, and also understands many non-medicinal routes, should you prefer that. She is smart beyond measure, caring, compassionate, and an amazing listener (necessary for a psychoanalyst). She is unbiased, professional, irreverent when you need her to be, and she understands her science better than anyone else. She's nothing short of phenomenal. The greatest perk is that she does therapy and medicine - almost impossible to find in one provider. She has changed my life, she is simply amazing.p.s. make sure you choose the correct Dr. Johnson. There are a few other Johnsons out there, you do not want to go to the wrong person!

Dr. Johnson is an outstanding, professional, compassionate, warm psychiatrist. She not only has the skills to provide therapy but also expert guidance on medication. I give her the highest marks. She's absolutely tremendous.

I seen Dr Johnson on and off for a long times. Started seeing her for therapy, she is very supportive, an active listener, and injects a tid bits of knowledge when needed. I was seeing a doctor who retired and when Dr Johnson she saw how overmedicated I was she methodology took me of medications and lowered the medication of others. I was experiencing fewer side effects. When I stop taking one medicine it was like a fogged lifted off of my brain. Without Dr Johnson I would not have had as much insight into myself and would still be in a fog.
