List of Kelly A Hay's Reviews
Dr Hayday was my PCP in Maine before she left (got fired maybe??). I was a healthy individual who started to have many abdominal GI symptoms as well as muscular problems. Dr Hayday literally interrupted me as I was explaining symptoms and offered me a anti depressant and said there was nothing she could do for me. Subsequently I ended up in the ER for a emergency appendectomy. Did not do any physical exam when I complained about abdominal pains. Time to find a new profession Kelly Hayday.
Very unfriendly atmosphere. Went to see Dr Hayday and regarding severe pain I was having and without even looking at the area I was having pain he made a diagnosis and gave me a prescription. Two days later the pain was much worse and ended up seeing another doctor and after taking a one look at the area the doctor diagnosed it as a cyst which will take surgery to remove it.Dr Hayday diagnosed it as a sprained muscle even though he did not see it. I called and left a message for Dr Hayday, voicing my complaint. The only thing I heard back from him was a bill in the mail for his services! Wrong diagnosis, wrong prescription!!! The staff was very unfriendly also.
My mother was only her patient for a short time. She moved to the area and was looking for a new PCP. My mother asked for a referral to a oncologist because she had had a NET tumor removed several years earlier. Her response still blows my mind. She said there was no need for monitoring as it would never spread. I was dumbfounded it made my mother question what was right or wrong. Fortunately she eventually did get a referral and was reassured that NET's do spread and need to be monitored. STAY AWAY!!
I was completely appalled at this provider's arrogance and dismissive attitude. As the injections I have received are not working, I was told today that if I wanted to continue to be a nurse, I could quit my current job and, "just work the phones". I again said that since my pain is requiring narcotics, it is not legal for me to even do that. He told, me to "just stop taking them then." Absolutely did not care whatsoever. I will be calling L and I and insisting on a second opinion from a provider who is currently blocking my access to the surgeon I initially was sent to. I am completely disgusted as a registered nurse to be treated so unprofessionally. Avoid.
Severely condescending to my 89yo mother. Had her in tears. Very rude manners.
Well I'm happy to add my story of meeting this man who I would not consider a Doctor as they are someone who tries to help people who are ill. This little man is just egotistical and condescending and has no place being a caregiver, I feel sorry for every patient who has had to cross this mans path as i'm sure it was a waste of time in the painful journey trying to find the the treatment they deserve. I have worked at hospital for over 30 yrs and yes there are poor Doctors out there beware..
First, I want to thank other reviewers; My negative experieinces were similar to every one else's here. And confirm that my concerns re Dr. Weaver were NOT just "in my head." He was dismissive to my concerns, curt with his answers, and arrogant in his demeanor. Then he discontinued my cervical injections saying that if they didn't help, there was nothing more to do. No chat re alternatives to either injections nor narcotic pain meds as I repeatedly requested. Made me feel like pain was in my head. I have a high pain threshold, @ the point when I do speak up re it, it's become an unbearable issue. Pain is a "notification" that something is wrong/ happening or a "mis-firing signal"; and must be addressed. He did neither other than to suggest two injections should end it..... I'm lucky that my PCP is cognizant and recognizes/ knows I'm not a drug seeker and that I prefer (edit: almost) ANY other Tx options else first. That said, one time ("......at band camp.....") after my last injection and (shockingly?) before telling me that I wouldn't benefit from more, I complained to TEC compliance & the state re his surgical team violating my HIPAA rights by bringing my ride back to my post-surgical bed, when I specifically requested she not be. Usually my son is my ride & he's NEVER been brought back when getting my post-surgery/ injection instructions........ But a "stranger" who was simply a friend giving me a ride & not participating in my after-care, was brought back, w/ a child under the age of 3. I was incensed! So I complained. Hmmmmm..... Perhaps there's a correlation to his leaving TEC shortly afterwards....??????? In February 2020, Evergreen Hospital in Kirkland welcomed Dr. Weaver. When I read his profile there, I was shocked that it read, " Dr. Weaver’s philosophy of care advocates that physicians should be educators first, working alongside patients to arrive at a mutual understanding of their health care. He enjoys partnering with patients to break down complex medical issues and identify a treatment plan. /Dr. Weaver also encourages his patients to make their well-being a priority by giving themselves time to be physically and mentally healthy. He says the returns on investment for exercising, eating right and getting enough sleep are improved productivity and quality of life." Well, he treated & made me feel like an idiot. I'm not. He didn't spend any time answering my Qs, educating me, showing/ feigning compassion or empathy to my pain/ issue, nor gave me info re options to make an informed choice. Anyways, thanks again everyone for your candor & please try to check that he didin't 'note' your medical file as your being a 'difficult' or 'drug-seeking' patient. You have a right to see all Tx/ Dr. notes contained in yours.
I’ve seen him around 5 times over the past few years. He was very pleasant but honestly? He just doesn’t really care! My final visit he took a look at my completely messed up cervical spine MRI. My neurosurgeon wanted me to have a diagnostic cortisone injection. Kelly says hey I’m going on vacation how about in a month.. Promptly call David Chang in Bellevue. Saw Dr. Chang the following day for a quick consultation & the following day had my diagnostic cortisone injection. My successful surgery with the absolutely wonderful Sandford Wright was 2 weeks later.
It is your right as a patient to provide a comment/complaint to the Everett Clinic. Here is the link: http://www.everettclinic.com/give-us-your-feedback
I wish I had looked at these reviews before I met with Dr. Weaver. I had a similar experience that others have explained in their reviews. He told me my MRI was fine and to go back to physical therapy (which has not been working). I had seen my MRI results with Primary Care Doctor and had several new issues after a recent trauma to the head/neck. He was extremely unprofessional and said that he knew more than my primary care doctor and that she did not know how to read MRIs. His lack of compassion, knowledge and desire to know my case was disturbing. I left the appointment feeling frustrated, and upset. I am determined to get a second opinion outside of the Everett Clinic's spine clinic. My advice -- DO NOT SEE this doctor.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
