I’ve been seeing Dr. Alchaer for about 4 years now. Recently I’ve had a recurring infection that isn’t being treated properly or examined - not responding to medications. I have missed many days of work due to being sick and I still have no answers/ no idea what is wrong with my body. I feel as if there is little to no concern for my health or risk of their being an underlying condition. When asked if she could please fill out FMLA paperwork due to me being out of work frequently for being sick she said no I don’t do that for a sore throat. But it’s more than a sore throat - it’s a 2nd strep infection within weeks of each other and other symptoms which won’t respond to antibiotics. Currently looking for a new doctor since Alchaer doesn’t seem concerned about my health - even after mentioning leukemia just weeks ago due to high white blood cells that recently improved. I’ve never felt so in the dark about my health. I have no answers.

Dr. Alchaer manages my overall health extremely well. Her office staff is on top of things and the time spent in waiting room is very rarely longer than my appt time.

Each and every visit her manner continued to be distant and quite frankly rude. There have been a couple issues with medication messages not being received. I had to repeatedly remind her of the routine tests I had and cleared the year before only to be issued a script as if I said nothing. After 2 months now I am still no further along in my treatment options for chronic spine issues after following all directives and having made phone calls to her office with no return phone call. She also gave me only a one week notice that the office would no longer be accepting my insurance. In my opinion, this is just plain bad business practice. Should a doctor care not to work with someone, take the responsibility to refer them elsewhere.
