My tooth chipped and needed a filling. I was recommended for a crown instead due to the size the filling. I couldn't bite on the new crown for weeks. I went back 4 times within a month for adjusting the crown. She actually adjusted (filing off ) my other good teeth to match the crown she made. I ended up root canal by a specialist because the nerve was irritated. The root canal was done by drilling through the new crown. At the end of procedure, the crown fell off. I had to went back to her for a new crown. And I had to pay for the second crown. It could be just a filling. I ended up paying for two crowns and root canal, plus juggling time for appointment after appointment.
