Dr. Rakhamanine performed my colorectal resection 11/12/2021. I had immediate problems. He was dimissive and evasive to the point, he didn't even see me in person after in Hospital Dilation procedure he performed for a Stricture I suffered from that surgery. I still have extreme problems from scar tissue at Stricture. He absolutely ignored my concerns and problems. Numerous problems from his surgery still unresolved. I filed formal Medicare Complaint. Medicare response was his "aftercare follow up" did not meet "Accepted Medical Standards". I have the document. If you have any complications from surgery, you'll be on your own. Robert F. Hopkins

Hides behind other colleagues and ignores attempts to contact. Had a Stricture also after surgery he Dilated, but had to be redone month later by another surgeon. If your surgery goes fine you'll be fine, however, any complications you'll be alone in misery and a very scary place desperately searching Doctors for answers and treatment. Robert F. Hopkins

I had my colonoscopy with Dr. Rakhmanine, and he is the BEST!! GREAT bedside manner, and he is the only one that diagnosed a congenital condition that I have had since birth. I highly recommend him!! Thank you Dr. Rakhmanine!

Dr. Rakhmanine is one of the most professional and caring doctors I've had the pleasure of meeting. He has taken the utmost care of my father in his critical time and I couldn't be more grateful for his advice, bedside manner, and medical professionalism. I feel completely at ease knowing that my father is being taken care of by such an extraordinary human being.

In order for this review to be meaningful, I must give you a reference point. My daughter and myself have chrons disease. Seven years ago I had to have surgery to remove some of my intestines. My surgery went very well. My daughter required the same surgery this December. Dr Rakhmanine was recommended to her by her gastro doctor. My daughters surgery was a total disaster, after the surgery her kidneys started to fail, her white blood cell count went through the roof. The biggest issue was that she was bleeding internally and her blood pressure dropped to 50/30. Every time she had bowel movement it was pure red blood. They had to give her two pints of blood and move her to the critical care floor. My daughter's mid section was so bruised it looked like she was hit by a car. Even the nurses asked who did this to you. HE NEVER CAME AFTER THE SURGERY TO SEE HER!! HE SENT HIS ASSOCIATES. Think very hard before you chose this surgeon. THERE ARE MUCH BETTER DRs AT THIS HOSPITAL

Dr Rakhmanine did a colon re-section on me due to repeated diverticulitis attacks. He was very thorough, explained everything that would happen, and answered all of my questions. After the surgery, he spent time with my husband explaining the operation and what my recovery would be like. He is compassionate, caring, and his staff is also great. I've recommended friends to him and they have also been extremely pleased with him.
