Almost killed my mom

Just had the Gastric sleeve done Aug. 5th 2020 and had no pain I feel good to use all the tools to control my weight. My scale says I'm down 13 pounds and I have even had my follow up appointment to see what the doctor scale says.

Bedside manners at their best! Dr. Boorse gives very clear and to-the-point information. Open for questions. I am walking in less than 24 hours after surgery with minimal pain. Will highly recommend him for general surgery.

He did my sleeve surgery in July 2015. He was far more involved and empathetic than I expected a surgeon to be. I've lost 140 lbs and maintained the loss for over a year.

I was nothing more than a number to Dr Boorse, however his nurse practitioner Karen was absolutely AMAZING. If I needed surgery again, I would see Dr Harrison. Everyone I asked told me to see Dr Harrison, I should have listened.

I started out with diabetes, and very over weight went to 2 years of seminars by Dr Boorse, in October of 2014 I was told I had psoriatic arthritis and i was just barely able to do a flight of stairs I had asthma and the weight gain was affecting my breathing. At this time my rheumatologist told me to loose weight, I had always struggled with weight loss, I went to my 3rd seminar, at which time I decided I was going to do it I was going to have the surgery, during the process I was diagnosed with high blood pressure. I had the surgery in August 2015 had lost 80lbs, am no longer diabetic, no high blood pressure, asthma under control, and my arthritis is hugely improved I am able to do the stairs with no issues. I feel Dr. BOORSE SAVED MY LIFE, Life is so good I am forever grateful Thanks :)

I weighed 450 lbs . I had to lose 50 lbs and go to classes for 6 months before my gastric bypass roen on September 10th, 2008 I had all kinds of complications, and was in ICU for 6 weeks and on the floor for 2 more weeks before coming home. the gastric bypass was a success and I lost 178 lbs taking me down to 262 lbs. almost 9 years later I weigh in at 284.. THANKS DR. BOORSE, YOU SAVED MY LIFE.
