List of Thuy D Ngo's Reviews
I would not take anyone you care about to this place. My brother has special needs. He and my mother were treated very poorly. From the phone call for an appointment down to the visit. No one should ever have to go thru this. Because of investigations. I'm not able to give details.
My adult son with special needs recently moved into a community 15 miles north of us. I was looking for a dentist near him and Dr. Ngo was recommended. I set up a teeth cleaning and exam, knowing that he needed some additional work as well. Dr. Ngo was thorough in her exam, while respecting the needs of my son. She communicated his issues well, and recommended a conservative approach, which i appreciated. I set up a follow up appointment where she administered a mild sedative and completed all of the work needed in her office, instead of having to do it in an outpatient environment with anesthesia. I sat in the room with him and she was very gentle and skilled. I am so happy to have found her. She is not close to my home, but I would drive the distance to have her work on my teeth. I highly recommend Dr. Ngo.
I have been going to Dr Ngo for 10 years, recommended by another dentist when I needed a crown for a front tooth and needed an ultra white color match. Dr. Ngo did a fantastic job and has completed a couple other procedures since. Great cleanings! Her office is ultra clean, convenient parking, waiting area peaceful and nice play area if you have kids. On top of being a gentle person, she is a good person and does pro bono work every year at the Phoenix Dental give back day and has volunteered her services internationally. She also performs work at Phoenix Children's Hospital. She truly loves her work and giving back to the community.
Dr Ngo was very cordial and helpful. However, the office staff are not very reliable if you need assistance with a problem. This is very unfortunate and disappointing as it reflects directly on the doctors and SLUHN.
I tried going to this doctor and OBGYN office after having to switch for insurance purposes. Unfortunately, my experience was terrible. I suffer from amenorrhea and my fiancé and I are trying to conceive. The communication in the facility is extremely poor, i had to call every time about my follow ups and then RECALL again after i would hear nothing back from leaving a message. I finally switched and am relieved to finally get real answers and feel as though i am being cared for. Horrible place
Dr Ngo removed my adult son's wisdom teeth on Sept. 28th at St. Joseph's Hospital. He has Autism and a congenital heart condition so as a precaution--she said at his consultation it would be done at St. Joseph's Hospital. She did an excellent job removing all four of them. His wisdom teeth weren't impacted and they came right out. One week later--October 3rd, my adult daughter's wisdom teeth were removed at the dental office by Ngo. All four of her wisdom teeth were impacted and were more difficult to remove than my son's. But Dr Ngo did a great job removing them.I recommend Ngo as she is a competent, well trained oral surgeon. She is knowledgeable, friendly and compassionate. Her staff is friendly and caring. The dental practice has all of the latest technology and is clean and neat.Dr. Ngo is one of the best oral surgeons in Arizona.
I'm sure the Doctor is great, the office is very nice and clean. Upon arrival for an appointment the receptionist was very curt not pleasant. Secondly left a voicemail Friday didn't get someone to call me until today. I understand it was a holiday weekend and what not that didn't even upset me. What bothered me was the voicemail left and asking to call back "Jan" or "Jane" was very snarky, rude and filled with attitude as soon as I was trying to get Information about meds given when I called back, she had a snarky reply see the insert ask the pharmacist did not appreciate the attitude.
I brought my son to this office in November. I was referred by my neighbor who is a dentist. We received a treatment plan that was around $3600 dollars. We choose to get a second opinion. We got a second opinion a called the offices back a left a message for them to contact me. I never received a call back for there offices. I contact them today and from the start the offices stuff was extremely unprofessional and rude. The put me on hold twice for 13 minutes each. The dentist give me a 20% discount on the treatment plan. The dentist said sinces I took my son for a second opinion they wouldn't honor the discount any more. They also said that I would have to pay the treatment plan in full before my son would even have the work done. If you plan on get a second opinion I would recommend not go to this dentist as they punish you for getting a second opinion. I would stay away from the offices as they are very unprofessional and rude. I will take my business else were.
Dr. Ngo is one of the best dentist I've ever met, she is clean, thorough, professional, and a very kind person. When she performed my wisdom teeth surgery she was smart enough to leave one wisdom tooth in place, it had too many nerve endings and could do more harm removed than good. She performs great cleaning and is honest and up front. If something needs fixing she will tell you, if not she will keep an eye on it. I can say nothing but good about hr and her performance as a dentist! Two thumbs up!!
I found Dr. Ngo by accident. Thought i was going to another practice, but I am so happy I found her. She is very kind, patient, thorough and does not rush her time with you while you are in her office. Even though that will make the office wait a bit, once it is your turn you have her full undivided attention. I highly recommend her! I trust her completely and have been with her for 3 yrs now with 2 hospital procedures and I am sad to that due to insurance changes I am having to leave her care.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
