I was immediately impressed with Dr. Kaneshiki on my initial visit. He made me comfortable and I felt that his concern for my welfare was genuine and sincere. The surgery that he performed on me went flawless and my recovery and healing were leaps ahead of what I had anticipated. His entire team proved to be professional, compassionate, caring and thorough. I don't want any more surgeries, but if I must get any, I hope that Dr. Kaneshiki is available to perform them.

Dr Kaneshiki did 2 surgeries for me - no complications whatsoever and I was back on my feet the next day. Very skilled surgeon that the Altoona area is blessed to have!

This is the 2nd surgery Dr Kaneshiki has done for me; wonderful bed side manner; I have total trust in him. Explained the entire procure and answered all my questions. I had an amazingly quick recovery time when others I talked to had a lengthier recovery time - I give credit to Dr K for my quick recovery!

When we got the report of cancer, Dr. Kaneshiki was the first one we wanted to do the operation. He is clear about procedures, was there very quickly before and after to discuss our patient's needs. We are blessed to have such an outstanding surgeon in our community.

Dr. Kaneshiki removed 12" of my wife's colon. Procedure went perfectly, no colostomy bag, laparoscopic procedure. My wife is almost 100% back to normal after only 4 days! Neil is a rock star.

In my defense, #1 the photo is that of Dr. Dennis Youshaw who is now retired and has never been associated with my practice. #2 In response to Mr. Juda's post, I have never seen, nor was ever scheduled to see Mr. Juda.

Staff did not seem ultimately concerned nor was willing to offer a referral despite being asked more than once. Did not effectively explain tests and how proceeded next. Could not recommend.

This doctor has a HORRIFIC bedside manner. He literally told me he had to fight with the ER doctor because he did not want to admit me because he wasn't going to do anything for me because I'm to fat. But, he kept me admitted to the hospital doing ABSOLUTELY, except for billing my insurance so he could line his pockets.
