He's the BEST of the best.He has taken exceptional care of at least 3 generations of my family, and he ALWAYS provides the most knowledgeable direction for myself.He knows your personality and can direct you to the appropriate specialist, ALSO He's responsible. It's likely if he retires I'll never see a PCP again, anymore they are like the "subway sandwich " and don't care to know you OR listen.This man is a GIFT to his field. ANYONE that disagrees is just wrong.

Great doctor with wonderful bedside manner

I have worked in the medical field in numerous capacities and have had many years and opportunities to interact with the entire medical team, including physicians, specialists, and surgeons. Having known Dr. Schollaert for many years as my father's doctor and now my mother's physician as well, I can honestly say that he is one of the finest doctors! His superior training and knowledge base of many years in his expertise is demonstrated in every interaction and precision in accurately diagnosing medical conditions. He is highly intelligent, respectfull and conscientious to the highest degree. That he personally called or reached out even after "traditional" business hours is yet another example of his commitment to the highest standard and level of patient care. It's wonderful to find a doctor with such dedication. I am very protective of my parents and I trust their health to his competent compassionate care!He has always been a respected member of the medical community earning multiple awards for patient care excellence and safety in his field as an internist specializing in geriatrics for 45 years. He places priority to the best patient care with respect, a warm personality that is easy to talk to, and a professional, genuine, positive attitude that shows consideration for the whole family. Simply summarized, "Dr. Schollaert is an excellent and compassionate doctor!!!"

Dr. Schollaert is one of the best doctors I have ever experienced... His years of experience is effortlessly demonstrated in the way he seeks to understand your concern, his impeccable memory about your personal profile (things that you have disclosed about yourself, family, health concerns), kindness, and ultimately his recommendations to address your health challenges. I was very fortunate to find him and I am forever grateful. Highly recommend.

I am a 63 year old female and honestly believe this is the best doctor I have ever gone to. He is thorough, caring, and sincere. I trust him with my life. Oh and during the time he was not practicing I didn't see a doctor.

Cost me a year of my life . Misjudged me , thought I was a pill pusher . Went three months undiagnosed with a spinal infection . Calls my wife asking if I had a pill problem . Poisons my neurosurgeon with lies to. Calls me from his home on a Sunday twice , ok to not give the the test results i so deeply needed. The man lost his license due to a drinking problem , I'm not so sure he still doesn't suffer from abuse himself . Very poor judge of character and his arrogance offended me . Stay away from this man . He once told me " you know how many calls i get each dayPeople looking for drugs . All along , my spinal infection grew and grew . I spent six months in a bed either in a hospital or nursing home because of his poor judgement and lack of knowledge. The past five months I been in rehab , trying to get my life back from all the damage that was caused by the infection .Stay away from this man , he is over the hill and lacks good judgement both morally and professionally

My best PCP yet! Very thankful to have him. Very dedicated and is comfortable to talk to and is extremely knowledgeable. He helped me even while working abroad. Highly recommended, and worth any drive! I drive 45min to see him.
