List of Adeem Akbar's Reviews
Appointment time was spot on. Dr. Akbar spent a great deal of time with me thoroughly explaining my CKD. He answered all my questions in layman’s terms. He talked with me instead of typing on a laptop (which doesn’t happen often for me). I now feel confident that I can manage my CKD with Dr. Akbar guiding me.
Dr. Akbar was thorough and took time to answer the questions we had of my husband's results. He especially made sure we understood and what next steps may help my husband. We were glad to find a doctor that listened to our concerns.
Ive been seeing Dr Akbar for several years. After going to to a few other nephrologist in the area he cared , listened , diagnosed my problem. He has treated me with success and has slowed down my kidney problems.
Excellent doc was very nice and explained things to me.
Very happy with my first visit. I felt like a patient, not person to get out the door. He was thorough, informative, personable, and invested in my care.
Dr Akbar comes to our dialysis center. Very professional. Very one on one. He sits and speaks to each person. He always listens to me and we tick any problems off one by one. He is always up to date on any of my med changes or hospital stays. Some doctors just cruise by with a handshake.
I accompanied my mother for an appointment with Dr. Akbar. He was courteous, respectful and informative, and provided good medical care. We will continue to follow up with him.
Dr. Akbar misdiagnosed and treated me for a disease I do not have for the past 3 years. He made me even more ill with the treatment which required many stays in the hospital. He should have his medical license revoked for his poor quality of care and lack of interest in his patients.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
