Shobha Asthana's Online Review Report Card

Worst doctor I've ever been to. I usually don't leave these. Misdiagnosed my multiple sclerosis as "anemia". Spent most of the time gossiping to me about other local physicians.

I'm sorry but if any doctor in their right mind would know that if their patient is allergic to contrast dye then why are you pushing that stuff onto them knowing they are not allowed to have it. The assistant today was highly highly rude, didn't want to hear the patient out before cutting them off so rudely. I do not like the fact that something is in my medical record that I'm not to have done and someone still orders it to be used on someone. I find that way out of order that is like sentencing something to their early death. I do not recommend this office 😒😒

Dr. Asthana is a wonderful person, and thinks about her patients and their problems. I would recommend her to my own family. if you talk to her a week or more later she remembers every detail of your visit with her. We are very fortunate to have her in the Mon Valley!!

Excellent Doctor but very lousy. Her office and refill process is even worst. No reply to voice messages at office or calling service. Waiting time at appointment is always very very long, no time management at all.

Dr .asthana is the first doctor to actually listen to me and be concerned, she talked to me about my symtoms for atleast a hr and she went over every test results and took the time that was needed to help me. I have faith that she will help me more than the other dr.s could and find a proper diagnosis .I been to so many doctors the past 2 years and she is by far the only one who seems to wanna be a actual DR. And heal someone .If you need a good nerologist in the area go to her . She is very educated and cares about her patients!!!

She is hands down the absolute worst neurologist I have ever seen. Not only does she overstep her boundaries and decide to tell you how you need to be treated in areas that HAVE NOTHING TO DO WITH NEUROLOGY, but she insists she knows best with everything and forces unnecessary lifestyle changes on you before she will clear you for anything. She's rude and quite honestly, vindictive and seemingly will hold a grudge against you if you decide to follow up with someone else. Do yourself a favor and find literally anyone else!!!

She's the worst excuse for a doctor I've seen. She will hold a grudge against you if you choose to follow up with any other doctors. She also doesn't know how to stay in her Lane and will try to force unnecessary lifestyle changes on you before she'll clear you for anything. She's rude quite frankly and can simply never be bothered to return a call herself, unlike many other doctors who have the decency to actually call their patient when it's an actual big issue. I wouldn't recommend her to my worst enemy

SHE IS HORRIBLE!!! Don't ever listen to those who say "oh she's great and spends so much time with me!" Yeah she'll spend 45 mins with you telling you that you know nothing about your own self and that you need to change a million things in your life that aren't even related to your condition. She's the worst, save your money and go see a damn goldfish instead

I think Dr. Asthana is an exceptional doctor. I never had a Dr. spend so much time with me. Answering my questions and discussing solutions. I have had headaches for over 25 years and she’s the only person that actually is trying to find out why. Instead of handing out medicine to cover the pain up she researches the resin for my problems. She’s awesome. A very nice person also

The first two times I say Dr. Asthana she was very good and spent alot of time with me. She found several serious conditions & said she would work with me to manage them. I spent $2,000.00 on medical test (money my insurance didn't pay) and then when I went back for the third visit I waited two and a half hours to see her and I was only in her office about 10 minutes. She said there wasn't anything wrong with me and that I just needed to work less and get some friends and go out on the town and have a good time. Really??? Now I have to go get new doctors to find out if the health issues she told me about are real or she was just making them up. I don't think she reviewed my records before I went into her office and didn't even know who I was and it was almost 5:00 and she just wanted to go home. ***DO NOT GO SEE THIS DOCTOR AS THERE IS SOMETHING NOT RIGHT HERE*********
