Dr. Baratz is very good! I had hand surgery last July and so far all has gone well. I am till healing but much better than before surgery. It will still take a few more months to completely heal but I am glad I had it done and eventually will need to get my other hand repaired due to arthritis and will definitely go back to him. Would not recommend. Horrible follow up care.Told 6 days after surgery they couldn’t help me and referred me to my PC. Two months still in pain limited use of arm, swelling and pain in hand that I didn’t have before surgery. Believe my biceps and possibly triceps were torn when Dr. manually rotated my arm while under anesthesia. Wanted to discuss with surgeon. He was a no show at my follow up appointment. I have had multiple back and abdominal surgeries with UPMC. Those were positive and I felt that I was cared for. Not this time. Not this Dr.Keep looking and find another practice.

Dr. Baratz did my elbow surgery in 2010. Absolutely amazing! The 2 hour drive was worth it. I'd recommend him to everyone

By far the best surgeon I have ever had. He was always responsive to my concerns and needs. He truly listened to me! After being in pain for years, he did magic! Highly recommend him and his team!

The past few months have been rough for me , I broke my pinky at work and I won't blast another Dr on here, but I am thankful I was told to get a 2nd Opinion & was referred to Dr Baratz! He is amazing & so are his staff members ! I had surgery few days ago and I felt so comfortable and cared about by everyone..I would highly recommend Dr Baratz to anyone !! After all I have dealt with past few months my anxiety got bad but Dr Baratz and his surgical team helped diminsh a lot of that anxiety 😁
