Always excellent care! I highly recommend Mayo New Prague:)
I was at the ER in New Prague yesterday and Dr. Becker was very thorough and caring! All of the nurses and staff were very friendly and professional!
Rude from beginning to the endRobotic. Unprofessional. Hurried.there is a difference between seeing patients every 30 min to 45 min to treating patient like McDonalds - one after the other - on a conveyer belt My appointment was at 10:00 i was not seen until 12:10. I asked the medical assistant what school she went to; she stated they do not need to go to school to be M.A there. As long as they enjoy the medical field. Bad vibes. Front desk rude. office manager bad lip filler. Rude. I felt uncomfortable leaving
Bad experience from beginning to end.I called to make an appointment, i was shouted at because i just recently received my insurance card and was trying to figure if i had a ppo or an hmo. I was trying to read my insurance card and i got a "hurry up" " how do you not know what you have" i asked for a name and was mocked. Severe coughing in the phone, and was advised it was the "personal manager". (They do not do reminder phone calls FYI)Appointment at 10:00, (i believe there first patient was at 9?) i was not roomed till 11:15am, because of training a new medical assistant. I read a review before regarding one of the rooms was completely opened. It was embarrassing to tell the medical assistants why i was there and how the entire front desk and waiting room could hear me....HIPPA. My nose was sprayed and ears checked by the medical assistant. I denied the spray, but was "forced" because the doctor i was seeing recommended it. And the medical assistant had to do it, so she wouldn't piss off the doctor. I felt soo bad so i let her. ( i have an allergy to phenylephhrine; causes minor swelling; i was advised it wouldn't affect me at all per tall medical assistant)I came in for congestion and allergies and ear wax, i left with a bloody nose. The doctor i saw was nice in the beginning, but i felt like i was not allowed to ask questions. I asked a question about my past facial injury i was shushed and his palm was put up to silence me. Disrespectful. It was very uncomfortable. He asked if i was sprayed in my nose, i answered before the tall nurse in the corner could speak; i explained i had an allergy and that my throat was itching; Dr. Becker explained the spray was for the most delicate nostrils, but i told him i had an allergy to phenylephrine, a main ingredient. He said nothing will happen. He scoped my 1st nostril and i asked if he was alright, he was shaking in front of me, and i felt the scope shake all the way down. I was crying, shaking and coughing. I sneezed and he "pulled out" the scope very fast my nose started to bleed. So here i am blood gushing out of my nose and mouth, im coughing up trying to breathe. I was given a tissue and both the doctor and medical assistant left the room come back 10 minutes later and they come in with silver nitrate to cauterize my nose. I was still bleeding everywhere so they couldnt proceed till i stopped bleeding. i finished the box of Kleenex. I was advised to go across the street to Northwestern Hospital to get admitted because of my nose, My office visit was July 8th. I got discharged the next day @10:00pm. My ear cleaning punctured my right ear drum, allergic reaction to the spray; i got hives and my throat was closing.i was referred to Dr. Wiet office at RUSH to fix my ear drum.No sorry, no follow up nothing. I expect a outrageous bill from themA-V-O-I-D. T-H-I-S. O-F-F-I-C-E.
I went here to get a cyst checked on. I must say this guy is pretty old / wasnt really getting a good impression on wanting him to be the one to perform the incision / remove this cyst. I held off found someone else. Additionally, the lady at the front desk is a complete be**ch. Never have seen anything like it, I recommend you call in and just speak to these people for 30 seconds and you will have all the answers you need to go some place else.
You need to retire for the sake of your patients. Shaky, will not listen, i was very uncomfortable the way he man handles his staff. Side comments and looking at myself(pt) for an equal laugh. No. Not at all. His office is open completely and one of the exam rooms has no door to close??? HIPPA?!He was quite loud speaking to one nurse in glasses about patients speaking Spanish and not learning English. smiled at one nurse with glasses amd scolded the other with dark hair. It was uncomfortable.I had my ears cleaned out, funny girl who enjoyed removing wax, then when Dr. Stephen walked in he scolded her about not turning the light on fast enough or demonstrating how to blast water in my ear, you can tell he puts her down often. I had a sinus infection also. I was scoped and then explained it was allergies to try Flonase and dymesta see him in 1 month. He was shaking the entire time he put the scope in my nose, shaking when he checked my nose. It was uncomfortable, too say the least.
Dr. Becker should retire! His assistant Julia caused damage and pain to my ear while unblocking it. I think Dr. Becker should pay for the ear drops I had to use for 3 weeks. He perscibed them over the phone and saw me 3 days later.I would not go back due to no one spoke to Julia about her treatment to me.I went to a new ENT recommended by my primary care doctor, the day after my second visit to Dr. Becker. I told the office manager and Dr. Becker about the pain and abuse caused in the way my ear was jammerd over and over with some vacuum tool. Julia standing on her 4 inch heals hurting me. She said you need to move toward me not away. I said " You are hurting me, I need novacane for this procedure" and she kept going at me the same way. I had blood on my cheek and pillow the day after this. Dr Becker prescribed expensive ear drops, that he should have paid for because it was caused by an assistant that should NEVER be aloud near a patient.I was told Julia would be spoken to. When I called the downtown office for my recheck appointment because Northbrook was closed, I spoke to Julia and did not know it was her. When I realized it was, she had no idea what I was talking about. No one spoke to her about the bad treatment. Today I went for my final visit to Dr. Nelson and he removed a huge scab from my ear canal that was caused by Julia. Dr. Nelson said this should not have happened and was caused by the way my ear was unblocked.Michelle Berson
Dr. Becker has turned my life around. Having 4 to 6 nasty sinus infection every year of my life, Dr. Becker has found the cure to stopped them! I feel much better. I'm grateful for each day of good health.
Dr. Becker is a excellent physician. spends time with you, listens to you and discusses thoroughly your medical issues. He is a ER Dr. He was a Family Medicine Dr. at New Prague Medical Center before the "Mayo" took over New Prague Clinic and Queen of Peace Hospital in New Prague Mn. His attention to detail in patient care is outstanding. Dr. Becker is a Superior Dr. and I would highly recommend him.
First time visit today with Dr. Becker. As a couple, staff offered us the option for treatment successively in same examination room. This was just fine and worked out well.Dr.Becker and assistants cordial and professional in medical examination and treatment. Procedure to remove wax buildup in left year proved effective and hearing restored. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
