Don't bother with this place. As a new patient, waited 2 months for an appointment. Appointment was at 3 pm. Took the day off work. Was turned away at 2:50 pm because they have a rule that is not appropriately communicated that your appointment will be cancelled if you don't show up 30 mins early. Find a place that cares about about you as a patient. If I waited for 2 months, you can spare 20 minutes. ...

This doctor is amazing! I am 27 years old and I was a new patient and went to her for an annual exam. She really took the time to form a relationship, allowed me to ask questions (and I had many) and made me feel comfortable from the start. I have already recommended her to all of my friends and will definitely always come back to her. I would highly, highly recommend!!

Good initial experience. I went in as a new patient for a annual exam. Nothing special. Nothing added. As we were saying goodbye, she asked if I had any questions. I am a nurse practitioner and very informed, but I wanted some reassurance. So I just asked what her recommendations were for waiting to get pregnant after traveling to Mexico (because of the Zika risk). I knew the answer, but wanted to hear from an OB on recs. She told me what I knew but said I would likely be fine as long as neither of us got bit or had symptoms. I then asked if I should be worried about my age because I have a family history of early menopause. She told me not to stress and if the time comes, we can check levels. It took less than 5 minutes extra. I then get a bill for $130. I thought it was a mistake since preventative health care is included and there is no charge. When I called to get the mistake rectified, I was told that there was no mistake. I received "pre-conception counseling". I was amazed! I said that I asked two questions and that's it. The woman told me, "You didn't ask a question. You received counseling". I couldn't believe it. This practice was charging me for asking a question! She didn't tell me she was charging me and basically just offered me reassurance on info I already knew. She spent 5 minutes with me. It's criminal that she would charge this fee without disclosing what she was doing. Also, she values sucking every last penny out of her patients over actual patient care. Completely ruined my experience and I will not be going back. I would definitely not recommend this practice to anyone.

If you're looking for an obgyn, look no further- Dr McMahon is amazing! I went in for my annual checkup and preconception visit following a friend's recommendation (friend had breast cancer, and spoke very highly of her bedside manner and how containing she was), and found Dr McMahon to be warm, knowledgeable, with a sense of humor- exactly what I was looking for. She spent a good 30 minutes exploring my medical history, went out briefly, came back to perform physical and talk about prenatal care and options. I cannot recommend her highly enough! (Oh and also, staff is great and office warm and welcoming, as others have said).

Dr. McMahon is simply amazing. She has been my ob/gyn for 14 years. Her bedside manner is genuine, professional, and compassionate. She also keeps her promises. I have had a complicated gynecological history. She has performed multiple surgeries on me and I have never had a single complication. Additionally, she delivered all 3 of my kids (1 set of twins). I had multiple miscarriages and she was appropriately supportive with each one. Also, she promised me that if she could, she would deliver my twins (born earlier this year). True to form, she had her office reschedule some appointments so she could keep her promise to me. I was touched by her compassionate care and feel so lucky to have her as my physician. She is a special lady. She is also highly efficient, incredibly smart, and funny. I really cannot say enough positive things about her. I will see her as long as she is in practice and would never go anywhere else. Thanks Dr. McMahon for everything!

Dr. McMahon is wonderful. I have been going to her for about 5 years now. This past visit, she sat with me for over 30 minutes about my concerns and walked me through all of the information I needed. Her office returns calls quickly and is helpful when refilling any prescriptions. She is personable, approachable and knowledgable.

I had a lot of issues with healing after having giving birth (come to find out due to the doctors at this practice) so I had a lot of apointments and needed to make them when I could. I was sitting in a room waiting on Dr. McMahon and I heard her say, "ugh, her again, why do I have to keep seeing her." Needless to say, I am now healed and have to have reconstructive surgery due to these horrible doctors. DO NOT GO HERE!!!!!!!

I am not sure why/how these reviews are so high.... I met Dr McMahon at the end of 2012 when I decided to consult her based on the good reviews in Yelp... big DISSAPOINTMENT!I have been experiencing a dull/strong pain in my lower back/hip/pelvic area for over two years (since my last pregnancy) and after acupuncture/PT/chiropractor etc an MRI read by a sport medicine doctor showed "something gynecological"... so, without hesitation, I went to an obgyn (Dr McMahon) for an opinion...The first impression was not so good. She was very condescending and not empathetic at all with my situation. After I explained to her the reason of my visit, she said right away "I don't read MRIs" (i lately found out that the report of an MRI is for doctors to read and interpret, they don't need to actually look at the pictures, but McMahon refused to read the report). She said "if you have anything, we treat it with the pill, so it doesn't make sense for me to look further for now" "I would put you in an contraceptive for 3 months and we will see". That was it... my first visit... 3 Months after, i was still in pain, I bled for all three months non-stop (some reaction to the pill she gave me) so I went back to McMahon. Again, she was very condescending and nasty after I explained the situation making me feel as if I was making up all the pain and suffering. She asked me "what do you want me to tell you? Do you want to do an ultrasound so you see if you have anything inside? maybe is your IUD and we can take it off?.." to what i said, "I don't know, you are the doctor" (THAT IS WHY I CAME TO YOU AND WHY I PAY YOU!). The ultrasound didn't show anything so she point blank said... "you have nothing, sorry"...put some ice for the pain.Where is the doctor that is supposed to guide you in resolving any health problem? I left that office with the promise of never go back again and write my experience so no one else has to experience this inefficient, mean, irresponsible, heartless and expensive doctor. A month later, I went to another obgyn who was the complete opposite of McMahon. She researched the case, read the MRI's reports and pointed me to an orthopedic surgeon. The pain was caused by a labrum tear, which required a hip surgery that I just had performed and from which I am currently in recovery. It is to this day that I remember Dr McMahon 's complete unprofessionalism.

I don't get these reviews. I did not have a five star experience. I found out I was pregnant, my general doctor recommended several ob/gyns. Checked the Drs. out and chose two I wanted to meet. One got me in right away and I made an appointment to meet the second, Dr. McMahon the next week. 1st doctor VERY nice. Answered ALL questions, did not rush, very informative and nice. However, I didn't have anything to compare it to. First baby kind of a big deal. So I wanted to meet the other doctor that had high reviews, Dr. McMahon. 1st doctor did ultrasound, pelvic exam, extensive blood work, and new urine preg test. I told the 1st doctor that I was going to meet Dr. McMahon. She explained (very nicely) that insurance billing for a baby is done in a lump sum and since she had already done some of the initial tests I would need to contact my insurance company to make sure I would be covered for another initial visit and that I should contact the other doctors office.She said it was no problem and if we decided to go with the other office she would have all of the test results sent over to them. My insurance company said that I could go and meet another doctor but that 2nd doctor could not redo the tests and procedures that were done a few days ago. 2nd office should bill it as an office visit. Insurance company said it wasn't a problem. I spoke to several people at McMahon's office and explained the situation. Spoke to billing, they said it would be billed as an "initial ob visit" and told me to call my insurance co back. I called insurance co and they said, "No it can not be an initial ob visit. You can only have one of those. They should not redo all the tests you had done last week. You should just meet and speak with the doctor and assess the office and staff." Call Dr. McMahon's and tell someone that I need to cancel. She said, "Before you cancel let me have you talk to billing again. I think you should be able to do this." Talk to billing. I explain it cannot be initial ob visit with tests, etc. Billing says, "Ok, we can do that. Just let them know when you get here tomorrow. Tell the front and tell the Dr because she is the one that will determine how it is billed. You can let her know when you meet her."Get there. Office nice. Front desk person nice. Let her know I just wanted to meet the doctor. She tells me to tell the nurse practitioner. I tell np I've already seen another doctor, had tests, and wanted to meet and talk to Dr. McMahon. She seems to understand and says the other office can send tests over. IDK maybe I wasn't clear. She leaves and on her way out says, "I need you to undress and put this gown on so Dr. McMahon can do an ultrasound." Thank god my husband was there because I am tired from being pregnant and work. He says, "You don't need another ultrasound. You just had one a few days ago." Right. I don't undress and wait. NP comes back in. I tell her I just had that done a few days ago. She seemed kind of unclear but said, "Oh, okay so you just wanted to basically meet the doctor and interview her." I said, "Yeah, I guess that's accurate." She said, "Ok, I see what you are doing now, sorry about that." I'm thinking no problem, not a big deal. Another woman comes in and says, "I still need you to get undressed. The doctor still wants to do a pelvic exam." Omg. She leaves, my husband follows her out the door to try to straighten things out. He comes back in and says, "They didn't realize you'd had all those tests. I think they get it now."Ok, so we're waiting and in stomps Dr. Kimberly McMahon in her five inch heels. She introduces herself to us in a huff, plops herself down on the stool and says, "I don't really do 'this interview thing'. So just ask me whatever questions you have to ask me, because other than that I don't have anything to tell you." I wish I could convey in words just how nasty her demeanor was.I was speechless. My hubby says, "I don't know that we had any specific questions. We just kind of wanted to meet you to get some insight into your philosophy and the way you do things around here." Shoulder shrug. "Like what?" she asked, incredulously. "Like if we create a birth plan, will that be communicated to the other doctors, If we....", my husband goes on to ask several pointed questions. Over the next few minutes she became moderately less biting. At one point I explained to her that I had talked to at least four people the day before in an effort to prepare them for the situation. "Who?!" She shot back. I said someone ette. "Oh, she laughed we have so many people with ette in their names here." She was laughing to herself, having a good ole time, and did not seem to notice that my husband and I were stone faced. She said, "Then it's not you're fault." "No, I don't believe it is", I said. And then, "Well thanks for coming in and meeting us." I mean, what's the point of dragging this on? I made my decision within 5 seconds of her being in the room.

Dr. McMahon is not my main doctor but since I am pregnant, I met with her. She is wonderful and had a great bedside manner. She made me feel very comfortable and not at all rushed during my appointment. I would be more than happy if she is the one to deliver my baby.
