A complete, and EXPENSIVE waste of time. No investigative questions, didn't really listen, and just gave me two very expensive shots. At that point, Dr. Lau was completely dismissive and I left with no answeres. Had to go to somebody else to get a real answer. One of the worst doctors I've had in my 59 years. Do yourself a favor, run the other direction and get a real dermatologist.

Spectacular. Had DIEP flap surgery and it went swimmingly from beginning to end. Everything was explained in minute detail and there were no surprises. I had excellent results and this has not always been the case with other plastic surgeons. Highly recommend Dr. Jacob and staff.

Had breast reduction surgery done by Dr. Lisa Jacob at Geisinger Wilkes Barre as a outpatient. My breasts look like a child cut them apart and then put them together, I have several open areas and stitches coming out everywhere. Have not seen Dr. Jacobs since the day of surgery. The only people I have seen is her PA's. have been in pain since the surgery and pain has not been addressed since I left the hospital. I would not recommend her to anyone.

While being seen by Dr. Lau for years, I developed a skin growth that was discounted by him as benign. Dr. Lau told me "it's too slow growing to be cancer so don't worry." Eventually I was advised by another doctor to have the growth removed ASAP because it looked very suspicious. The growth was cancerous and because it grew for so long, it required significant radiation in addition to surgery. The radiation has caused me many health problems all because of Dr. Lau's wrong diagnosis. After surgery, I tried to make an appointment with Dr. Lau because I wanted him on my growing "cancer team" of doctors, but he told me (through his assistant) he didn't want to see me at that time and wanted me to make an appointment in 6-8 weeks. Needless to say, today I see another dermatologist who actually knows what cancerous growths look like.

We had just one meeting with Dr. Lau. I'm hugely impressed. He's a straight shooter. He just tells it like it is. And he talked himself out of a bigger paycheck by telling us the truth about some mole removals that wouldn't last. How refreshing! A real, caring doctor whose interested in telling you the truth about what's good for you. Not just his bottom line. When we use a dermatologist again it will be Dr. Lau.
