I injured my eye and went to my PCP, who referred me to Bethlehem Eye. I was able to get an appointment within two hours. I immediately received a text to complete all paperwork ahead of time. I was greeted immediately by friendly staff. The wait time was over an hour, but as I said, it was a last minute appointment. Dr Alterman was thorough, concise, and in and out with a diagnosis and treatment plan in no time at all. My only complaint is that I wasn't given an eye patch because I was really looking forward to making pirate jokes all day 😉

I've been a pt. of Dr. Altermans' for a few yrs. He performed cataract surgery for me a few yrs ago, I see him yearly for a check up and at this point there is no other MD I would trust the total care of my eyes. The office staff is very pleasant, kind and professional. I never had a problem with scheduling.

Bethlehem Eye Associates staff and Dr. Alterman always treat me extremely well. Their eye exams are thorough, and Dr. Alterman explains conditions in a very understandable manner. After my eye doctor of 35+ years retired, I was concerned about finding a new ophthalmologist I could feel comfortable with, but within a few visits I know I am very satisfied with Dr. Alterman.
