Dr Kitei is an excellent physician not only technically, but in the way he treats his patients. He is caring, very knowledgeable, and he takes his time to explain what he’s doing every step of the way. Clearly his approach is shared by the entire office as each person I met was friendly, professional, and caring. I completely trust my eye care to Dr. Kitei and Bethlehem Eye Associates!

Great experience with Jennifer and with Dr. Kitei!

I used to think that Dr. Kitei was a great doctor. If I could give 0 stars I would!! Took my son today and he was extremely condescending and rude. The office staff is all rude to begin with, anyone who has ever been there will know that. Today he was practically scolding my husband and I about the fact that my son doesn’t know his alphabet. Telling us that he is an advocate for MY SON! Sounding like we are not an advocate for him. When I said that were are advocates for him and that my husband and I both work full time jobs and have other children he could have cared less and brushed it off. How dare any physician make us feel like we are not the advocates for our child or that we are not doing whats best for them. He also when confronted quickly ended the appointment and instead of showing us what window to go to for check out like always he just walked off. I will never be back to this office!! I called and cancelled his next appointment and asked that they send me a medical release. I’m now looking for a new pediatric ophthalmologist. If he would have approached this appointment in a way that was respectful and not accusatory we could have understood. Side note - he was able to identify ever picture they showed him but that wasn’t good enough for them. I also have spoken to his preschool and they have told me that he can say his alphabet but reading the letters is harder, and he isn’t in kindergarten which is where this will be implemented more.

Dr. Kitei is awesome. Straight to the point, confident with his diagnosing skills. I’ve had a great experience.

Had visual issue ultimately due to a retinal tear. He promptly diagnosed it and got me to a specialist same day. Excellent

Professional and efficient.

Dr Kitei is so kind, patient, and funny! He makes the children that walk through the doors feel comfortable, as well as the parents feel confident knowing their child is getting the best eye care.
