As a long time patient with epilepsy that has seen MANY neurologists and epileptologists over the last 2 decades, I just love Dr. Kohler! He LISTENS! That, in itself, is an extreme rarity. He does not jump right to surgery but is not against it, necessarily. He doesn't order pointless tests that have already been performed 6+ times but ANY other epileptologist or neurologist WOULD HAVE ordered, this time. He's even open to testing that is a little bit outside the box, in a good way! :-) The office staff is quite lovely, also. I highly recommend this practice!

If you need an epileptologist, look no further. He will treat the “complete you”. Terrific listener, well versed in all approaches, quick response to all concerns regarding your seizure control.

When my union transferred my medical from New York to Pennsylvania I was scared however Dr. Kohler proved me wrong. I will go as far as he’s better than my NYC doctors. Very caring I wasn’t just another appointment thank you Doctor Kohler ✈️

I am also a physician with a family member with recent onset epilepsy. I am continuously impressed with Dr. Kohler's skills as a diagnostician and treating physician.

I am a physician specialist with a family member with recent onset of epilepsy. I am continuously impressed by Dr. Kohler's diagnostic skills and clinical judgement. He is able to reevaluate the medical situation with each visit and change the treatment course as the patient's condition changes. Definitely worthy of 5 stars. I have recommended him to friends.

Medicine (zonisamide) he prescribed is affecting patient behavior. He does not listen to patient advocates information - but encourages patient to keep taking medicine in spite of its bad effects. Does not work with family to produce better results. Being on medicine has made patient feel numb to feelings, withdraw from friends and loved ones, and asking for divorce from a 37 year marriage. Dr. Kohler will not accept the fact that all of these behaviors started as a result of seizures and medications.
