Francesca Okoye's Online Review Report Card

I have been seeing Dr. Okoye for approximately six years now. She is hands down one of my favorite providers. On my first visit yes she spent a lot of time typing an EXTENSIVE history and DOCUMENTING my problems as any thorough physician would. This documentation is necessary to order appropriate testing and surveillance for rheumatoid patients. She is extremely personable while being professional. Dr. Okoye has provided appropriate control for my autoimmune inflammatory arthritis and explains each treatment thoroughly. Her knowledge and prescribed treatment has literally been life changing for me. She responds personally via phone call and patient portal the same day of a question or concern and I trust her advice. I’m not sure why she is receiving poor reviews. I have recommended Dr. Okoye to several of my friends and family when discussing the need for rheumatological care. I would not trade her for the world.

Shes a great doctor

Even if Dr. Okoye was excellent in her field I would not recommend her. She spent the majority of the appointment on the computer and hardly made eye contact unless I was extremely direct demanding a response with eye contact and even then she would half close her eyes and appeared annoyed to have to look at me or respond. She did not give due diligence to explaining the goal of treatment or what that goal should or would look like. She comes off very uncaring and frankly put out that your are even in her office. Condescending in her responses to questions questions I should not have had to probe and ask questions she should have been addressing due to her position as the physician. I have been in medicinehealth care for over 25 years as a provider patient and family advocate and I found her style to be extremely disappointing and an embrrassment to medicine and todays providers.

this doctor was very rude to me on a visit. As soon as he entered the room she said I dont know why you are here or what you think I can do for you. I have a lot of health issues and thought some more test might be helpful but she made me feel like I had pulled her out of something more important and she was angry.

Very cold and seemed irritated that she had to see me. Asked me why I was there though it was obvious I was a new patient transferring from another office in the notes. Seemed unconcerned with any issues made faces and rolled her eyes when I answered questions or asked them. May have good knowledge and be a good doctor however she was very rude and I will not be going back to this provider.
