I began my health journey one year ago. Physically my body was at a breaking point. Seeing another doctor and being given another prescription to mask the problems was not a solution & no longer an option. I wanted my life back. I found Emily & Amanda through a friend & my journey back to a healthy me began. Both Emily & Amanda worked diligently. After completing the most comprehensive health history I have ever completed, we began to tackle every issue one by one, rebuilding my body from the core. At 58, my body was failing. Liver, pre-diabetic, whole body inflammation, thyroid disease, weight gain joint pain, not sleeping, and the list goes on. Now, at 59, I feel like I did in my 30s & 40s. I have my life & health back! I am thankful for the guidance, knowledge, and experience these ladies bring to the table.

I came to see Emily about a year ago with the worst autoimmune symptoms. I had not felt well in years and having a combination of MTHFR, celiac, and hashimoto's made me a a complicated case. For the previous 2 years I was experiencing new symptoms that were sucking the life out of me. Traditional medicine was a brick wall. Functional health. That is what the ladies at Together for Health and Wellness provide. One year ago (July 2022) I started seeing them because my body was swelling with fluid (25 pounds worth). I was in intense pain and needing carpal tunnel surgery on both hands (Completed in October.). My body was needing additional support as well. I didn’t know that my gut issues were an issue and could be addressed. Amanda and Emily worked together to get me to where my body is functioning more “normal” and taught me many additional skills needed to deal with the stressors in my life. I was inundated with stress and I didn’t even recognize it because it’s my daily life. A supersized family can do that to a person. Now I am taking some time for myself to deregulate and allow for a more healing environment. Everything that Amanda addressed in my health showed up in other areas of my life and I am in awe at how everything is connected. We are now nearing the end of my treatments and my life is so much better. ♥️ I will admit that I didn’t know if they’d be able to do anything for me, but this past year showed me that I needed them more than I ever knew.
