My appt was on time and I had my questions answered and my course of treatment was discussed.

I don’t recommend this doctor especially if you’re older. He didn’t do a comprehensive assessment, didn’t recommend further testing, didn’t offer suggestions on things that would help with the pain from a compression fracture and bulging disc. He basically stated that since my mother has dementia we should just give her an over the counter pain reliever for the pain because she couldn’t express what type of pain she was experiencing. All she could express was her back was really hurting. I was completely appalled at his demeanor.

Dr. Liss is a fantastic surgeon who performed 2 spine surgeries on me and has given me back my ability to walk! He made me feel comfortable and cared for and I can’t thank him enough!

I have been seeing Dr Liss for 22 years. I have confidence in his medical and surgical acumen, and he has restored my ability to live my life twice. He's thoughtful, listens, and is extremely personable.

He promotes himself as spine specialist which is the reason I went to see him. He did not do a comprehensive exam or take a comprehensive history of my symptoms or what was helping with my pain. All he did was refer me to pain clinic. Do not waste your time. All he did was take my copayment and bill my insurance. I recommend seeing rehab physician for comprehensive evaluation.
