Dr. Sword is beyond proficient in helping women with their health. I was faced with infertility and he provided me with care that got me pregnant without seeing an infertility specialist (within a year). He was my go-to doc during a high risk pregnancy and and is very professional. He is a champion for women’s health care.

Dr Sword was the receiving doctor at change of shift when I presented in preterm labor, safely delivering my 32 week preemie via emergent C-section. Will be forever grateful for his competence and kindness.

I’ve gone to Dr. Sword twice for IUD insertions and he is so kind, respectful, and gives you all of the information you need. My second IUD insertion was more challenging than the first but he frequently checked in on me and walked me through what he was doing during the procedure. Highly recommend.

I have seen Dr. Sword for the past 8 years now!! He is amazing and the only doctor that I trust. I have had many issues and he has been there to help me out and explain everything. He is the only one I trust with surgical procedures.

My husband (a physician) and I ( an RN) took our daughter to see Dr. Sword for dysfunctional uterine bleeding. I found him to be very condescending. His treatment choice is contraindicated because of a disorder that resulted from the use of Provera and BCPs. When I mentioned that, he stated that this was his speciality. He then stated that her other doctors were wrong. He then dismissed my concerns about the side effects we had seen when on Provera and our concern about an IUD based on our experience with our older daughter. He then proceeded to comment on her underlying medical condition which he obviously did not understand. His comments were completely inaccurate. When we tried to correct him, he insisted he was right saying his wife was a geneticist. If he got his information from her, she too was wrong. We were very disappointed and are in search of a new gynecologist.
