Very friendly
The specialist was very attentive to my son. He explained the diagnosis in detail. The follow-up was perfect. It is worth mentioning that they helped us with a translator and documents in our first language.
Every time I have to visit South Fayette office, I have bad experience with the front desk staff. I myself work at a doctor's office as admin yet I can't imagine talking to patients the way they do. The management should look into this matter. Ill-mannered people like them shouldn't be doing front desk job because every patient has to talk to them first before seeing the doctor. To be precise they are rude to mostly everyone and not just with me. I have no issues with the doctors, PA or nurses. It's just the admin staff who needs to learn their manners.
Signed in at 7:15 at the urgent care after the telemedicine told us to come in. We were told 45-60 mins. At 8:10, it showed we were next, but then people coming in after us started getting called back. All people who were also walk ins according to their electronic board, not online reservations. Front desk lady did nothing when I told her we were being skipped. Didn’t get called back until 8:45. At that point, it was just us and a few others that had literally walked in AFTER 8:30. If we ever decide to come here again, we’ll wait until nearly closing time so we don’t have to wait hours just to be ignored.
I absolutely love this practice when they have enough staff working, but when I called yesterday at 1130am, no one picked up after 3 attempts and then the receptionist said if I wanted a nurse's opinion on my sick child I had to wait 1hr and 30 min when the nurses return from their lunch. I said my daughter has a 105 fever. She said she can't help me and to call back at 1pm. I then asked if I could make an appointment and she said that only nurses can do that and they won't be back until 1pm. I was furious and said we'll have to take my daughter to Children's hospital then and the receptionist hung up on me. Health care in the area needs more staff and dealing with CCP, yesterday was a prime example.
Took my daughter to get allergy testing and they were very nice, listened to what we had to say, answered our questions, the testing was quick and got the results in 15 mins!! We'll be back in 6 months tho since my daughter is allergic to 3 things so far but we have more testing to do!
This office is the BEST - Love every practitioner we’ve seen. Never have to wait long to see the doctor at our scheduled appointments and the kids look forward to seeing their favorite faces!
We've been going to Dr Breit since Bower Hill pediatrics was around. Since he merged and moved into UPMC Children's South, the service is not the same. It feels more like you're just a number, rather than a person. When he had his practice, it was very personable. Now when you call you have to press a series of numbers before you can even talk to anyone. And they're more overwhelmed with too many patients that they have less time for you.
Dr Kramer was recommended by a friend. I have called twice to schedule well exams for my kids and both times a very overwhelmed receptionist takes my name and phone number stating that she would call me back sometime in the next few days to transfer my kids over. The first time I called was a few months ago… I just called in again with the exact same response.
Great experiences here and in the Moon office. We are half way between both offices but find ourselves here more often since it seems a little less busy. Both the normal pediatricians/NPs/PAs for routine visits as well as the specialist (Pediatric Dermatologist) have always addressed our concerns and taken their time to make sure we understand things fully. We recommend this group often to neighbors and friends.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
