Saw a doctor for a total of 5 minutes in their urgent care and was sent home without any help & told it would pass. Ended up in the ER a few hours later.

They've been my provider for at least 20 years and have always been thorough, respectful and caring. I would especially like to give a thumbs up to Cynthia Ventre who unfailingly provides whatever that "extra" thing is that makes a patient feel truly seen and heard.

Make sure you verify and confirm your appointment. My mother, a (snowbird) needed to see a doctor and we called her provider Humana and confirmed she can be seen at St Lukes Brodheadsville Family Practice. Called and made an appointment and explained my mothers situation and the appointment was set. Drove 30 minutes there to find out that if she does not make them her primary care then she can not be seen. In these times with the pandemic on the rise, our health professionals should be a bit more courteous. Why make an appointment?
