Dr. Yoshihiro Yonekawa regularly consults with peers around the globe to stay up on—and contribute to—the latest advances and research in eye treatments. For all his world-class surgical skill and numerous professional achievements, he remains personable, relatable, and driven to serve and heal patients. In my case, he quickly diagnosed my eye damage and quite possibly saved me from permanent blindness. If you’re going to trust someone to poke and probe into your eyeballs with bright lights and sharp objects, you want that person to be an absolute Retina Rockstar. Dr. Yonekawa is such an individual.
