Dr. Friel is an excellent physician. He takes the time to listen and truly takes the patient’s entire medical history into consideration when making treatment plans. My mother is 92 years old and Dr. Friel is patient, caring and compassionate with her. I would recommend him, without reservation, to anyone in need of urological care.

Dr Friel is very thorough in explaining my scan results and if I need to be concerned with any immediate actions. He said for now I’m on maintenance mode with annual checkups.

I was referred to Midlantic Urology by my family doctor due to elevated PSA and was seen by Dr. Friel. Dr. Friel was very friendly and professional. He asked me about my symptoms and explained to me how he would proceed to handle my case. First he ordered a new blood test to confirm my previous test result. He told me if the new test result match the previous one, he will order a biopsy to check for cancer. If the new test result fall within range, he.will monitor my PSA periodically. I think that was a very reasonable course of action to handle my situation. I am very glad that I saw Dr. Friel.

Dr. Friel is one of my mom’s favorite doctors. He is a good listener, and gave my mom a list of options that she could choose to treat her condition. He has given mom her freedom in navigating her path with sound information.
