He was absolutely wonderful!! I never thought I'd like someone as much as I like Dr. Atkins (my gastro that just retired). But Dr. Gotfried was great. Personable, knowledgeable, thorough and extremely kind and very personable. I would give him my highest recommendation !! Plus, he calls you back when he says he will! That's a huge plus!!

Doc G was very dismissive of my young daughter’s major stomach issues and refused to consider a colonoscopy (which a future Doctor said is necessary and scheduled). For all his accolades and good reviews, he was a jacka$$ to her and is lucky her issues aren’t life-threatening, because I GUARANTEE he’d be facing a lawsuit right now!!! Thankfully there’s more Doctors out there that are decent and not just egotistical, narcissists like Gotfried.

For all of his awards and knowledge, how did he justify that, with such extreme symptoms, my daughter did NOT need a colonoscopy…until her blood work came back?!?! Suddenly, he changed his tune and said she needs one ASAP. Drop the “lose weight” , prejudice mindset and treat the PATIENT and their SYMPTOMS.
