I thought Dr. Kurd was easy to talk to. He explained what is going on with my spine. He explained that I need surgery and what he was going to do during surgery. I felt he gave me enough details to decide to go forward with my surgery and we scheduled it before he left the exam room.

My visits were pleasant. I had trust in Dr. Kurd’s expertise. My surgery results were excellent.

I agree with the other 5 star ratings. Dr. Kurd’s office is well run and staffed with caring professionals. Dr. Kurd is determined to solve your back problem(s) and works with you to do so.

Friendly staff. Beautiful office. I would recommend Rothmann to anyone.

Dr Kurd explained pre and post surgery well, what to expect, and what to do if any problems occur. He is a doctor that cares for his patients and does what’s best for them. He maintains email contact with you if you have any questions and he listens to his patients

Mark Kurd is a spectacular surgeon and medical professional - and someone who truly cares about his patients every day. His follow up is excellent and he is an elite orthopedic surgeon and doctor - I would give him a stellar recommendation without any question. He will get you back on your feet and back on the field and back in the game!!

Today I had an appointment with Dr. Mark kurd's assistant. In severe pain, I had to have my Mother drive me. The ride is 20 min. When I got to Rothman in Limerick the receptionist told me the assistant, Carmen was not there! It took the receptionist a long time to come back up front to tell me. Finally, she told me Talour would speak to me. She is Dr. Kurd's head Nurse. Instead Talour sent some poor girl to speak to me. Ok. Dr. Kurd was too cowardly to tell me he was angry that after my 4th visit to him, I wrote a bad review! Instead, they let us drive all the way there in severe pain! I guess I am banned from Rothman because of a bad review! He deserved the bad review. I can't believe he was not able to tell me that he was dumping me because of my bad review. He had asked, after surgery to 'make sure I gave him a good review'

Dr. Kurd was thorough in his review of my case. Spoke using terms that I could understand. He was kind and always concerned about my comfort level. I would highly appreciate Dr. Kurd and his team for anyone with back issues.

I never write reviews but Dr. Kurd simply deserves one. I got a lower lumbar laminectomy about 1.5 years ago now and I could not be happier with the results and positive changes it has made to my everyday life. I’m only 22 now and started with back problems at 18 years old. I was so scared my pain would define me for the rest of my life. However, going to visit Dr. Kurd was the best thing I’ve ever done. He got the necessary scans and came up with a solution (not just pain management) to terrible sciatica pain from bulging discs. He was the only doctor that listened to me after visiting about 5 others that told me to take ibuprofen and/or other pain management. Dr. Kurd gave me a solution!! The main reason I’m writing this is because this past weekend I got to live out one of my dreams by participating as a dancer in Penn State’s THON (standing for 46 hours with no sitting or sleeping to raise money for pediatric cancer) and had no back pain!! Simply amazing and never thought I’d get to where I am today. Thank you so much!!!!
