2nd best Dr. I have ever used in 63 years!

Dr. Shukla immediately showed me that she cares about my pain (migraines) and that she is knowledgeable about current migraine treatments. I used to have daily headaches, and she put together a plan with several different medications to reduce my pain days and avoid rebound headache. And it's been working really well! My headaches are reduced significantly, though not completely, and we are working together to get them down even more. She has been so much more proactive and motivated than other neurologists I've seen. She has been up front with me that she Can reduce my migraines quite a bit, with the goal of 1-2 a month at most. And this is after I saw a neurologist who said you "can't cure migraines" and was content with me having 3-4 a week and eventually escalating to daily. I can't recommend Dr. Shukla enough. She is kind and knowledgeable and compassionate.

My wife was so fortunate to obtain an appointment with Dr. Shukla. She spent 1.5 hours with her and it was like the waves had parted in terms of a medical experience. All too often, we see the backs of doctors composing into their medical records. Dr. Shukla was personable, knowledgeable, and kind. She put my wife on a detailed pharmacological regimen and was extremely thorough. Thank you for continuing the tradition of being a physician that cares about the patient and is so in tune with treating the root of the cause. There isnt a more thorough migraine doctor on the main line, let alone in PA. Don't wait and thank you again Dr. Shukla, we hope my wife will regain her quality of life very soon. Your effort is clearly recognized and greatly appreciated.

There are few physicians who combine brilliant clinical and personal skills in such an elegant fashion. Dr. Shukla is a rare find! She has impacted my wife's life for the better in terms of 100% improvement of her migraines. She cares deeply about her patients. She actually saved my wife's life today. A week ago my wife had a chest xray that was negative. Today she had a followup appointment for headaches with Dr. S. Dr. S was so concerned about her cough she recommended further testing which indicated pneumonia. Had Dr not been proactive, this pneumonia may have yet to be discovered. Thank you so much for being an outstanding physician and caring person. You are true gem!

This is the third time that Dr. Shukla has seen me in the hospital. She has the rare ability to describe complicated medical issues in two or three sentences . She listens carefully and is an excellent diagnostician. I would recommend Dr. Shukla with no reservations whatsoever. I have always enjoyed her friendly attitude and real care.

You are never rushed- Dr. Shukla will spend as much time with you as necessary!

She is a wonderful doctor with a good heart. She is so nice and . She understands the need of everyone , she will care for you regardless of your financial situation. She need to be recognized for her good work.

I almost considered cancelling my appointment with Dr. Shukla because of issues I had with the office staff leading up to the appointment, but thankfully, I didn't hold their negligible level of professionalism against her. Having seen 4 other neurologists prior to seeing Dr. Shukla (2 at TJUH and 2 private in Chester County), it was as if she brought a flashlight to my dark room of symptoms and symptomology. She was warm, insightful, educational, knowledgeable, thorough, and had a plan.

I waited one hour and 30 minutes past my appointment before I decided to walk out of there.
