Seemed annoyed that I managed to get an appointment. Asked three questions, reviewed some lab work and offered little treatment. Spent half the visit pontificating about chronic lyme patients. If you have a tick related illness i urge you to stay away from this provider. Arrogant, unsympathetic. No thanks.

Stay away from this Dr. He is not familiar with the nuances of lyme disease, lyme testing, herx reactions, etc. Does not seem to believe that lyme is a real disease even. Extremely dangerous to have this Dr seeing patients and treating lyme.

Let's just say I am a young healthy woman who came into Paoli Hospital with Pneumonia. My fever would not go down so my uncle who is a Pulmonary Dr. asked that we see Infectious disease. I'll write a review on the pulmonary group at Paoli who also seemed to have a hand in my condition worsening. All the reviews of Dr. Kim being arrogant, dismissive, stubborn, and rude with terrible bedside manner is true. He and the other doctors didn't change my medicine and actually refused to do so. I got sepsis and the pneumonia got worse so I transferred to UPENN. I almost died thanks to Paoli Hospital and their incompetence. When I went to UPENN it was like the day and night when it came to patient care and Doctors. If I could give him zero stars, I would.

Dr. Kim is an unbelievably dedicated doctor. As a 65 year old woman, I have rarely been this impressed with a physician land his credentials are impeccable.

Absolutely negligent doctor. He needs to get himself into a new profession.

I was admitted to Paoli Hospital a week and a half ago, with stroke like symptoms and cervical spinal symptoms. Neurology believed this to be due to lymes disease in my spinal cord. We asked Infectious Disease be brought into the case and Dr Kim seemed completely annoyed to have been requested. Keep in mind I also had a case if Bell's palsy so the lymes disease idea was one I was hoping for to explain all symptoms. When Dr Kim came in to tell us it was negative in my spinal fluid, he was short, irritated and unable or unwilling to explain himself in a simplistic manner to a patient who had been in pain meds and in a hospital bed for over 4 days. He seemed annoyed I couldn't comprehend, through my meds, he medical speak. The absolute worst bedside manner I have ever experienced. He made us feel foolish to think that it could possibly be lymes disease in Early February. I suppose it may have not occurred to him that people travel to warmer climates during the winter months where deer ticks may still be active. I would never recommend this Dr to anyone. Every other person and professional I dealt with at Paoli hospital was wonderful.

Dr.Kim has been very attentive to my diagnosis. He explains things in a way that I understand and he allows for questions even when they seem silly. He is honest and very intelligent! I really respect and highly encourage you to see Dr. Kim if you need an infectious disease doctor!

I was admitted to ER Bryn Mawr Hospital in a bad way a month ago. Dr Kim diagnosed my problem (staph aureus in the joints), told me how I acquired the infection, and put me on a course toward recovery. Whether I was in intensive care or in a normal bed, Dr Kim never failed to update me on the status of my disease. He would sometimes come by both morning and evening.This guy is a sweetheart. I trust him implicitly. Highest rating.

Treated my husband several times in the hospital. He is very intelligent and went out of his way to make sure we understood the diagnosis. I trust him completely.

Dr. Kim is very intelligent, and apparently good at what he does. That, in the end, is what I guess matters when you're sick. However, he doesn't seem to care to listen to patients and really just wants you to listen to his message and accept it at face value. Follow up calls to his office when there were complications were largely ignored and I was told to simply call my Primary physician. That to me is completely unprofessional, and unacceptable even from the perspective of simply being courteous.
