Staff is nice. Their office is always busy but do not seem to wait long. Dr. Papas is nice and knowledgeable.

Dr. Papas is the best! He explained cataract surgery thoroughly and calmed my fears. Wonderful, caring doctor. Thanks Doc...I'm doing great!!

I had scheduled an appt for a second opinion with balouris. I had been seen by his office 13 years previously. Balouris acted as if he was jaded that I hadn’t been in and had my eye surgery by another doctor. Couldn’t or wouldn’t answer any of my questions and told me to go back to the doctor who did the surgery. Horrible bed side manner. Left not knowing anything. He was in the room less than 5 minutes.

Total satisfaction from initial exam to post surgery. They are Very much concerned with the comfort & overall well being of the patient. Recommended A+

The office is a factory. Once you get past the front desk there is some humanity in the employees. There was a minor issue with 1 of my eyes , the Dr chose not to mention it. The nurse in OR prep put the stint in my arm, I now have another scar there. When you go to your appointment don't bother being early. You will wait until your appointment time and beyond,

Staff was wonderful.. Dr. Balouris explained everything.. very knowledgeable!.. And very personable. Glad I chose this facility..

I can’t speak highly enough about Dr. Balouris and the Butler Surgery Center. In addition to being a marvelous surgeon, Dr. Balouris, his staff and the people at the surgery center were outstanding. Thank you, Dr. Balouris for giving me back my sight!

I was referred to Dr. Pappas to have my narrow angles lasered. All that went well; however, there is miscommunication in the office. I was scheduled for a follow up to check my eyes and when I arrived I was not advised beforehand I was going to be dilated. I had to reschedule the appointment being I did not have a driver and also had to work that day. The next week I went in, got dilated and was placed in Dr. Pappas office to wait for him. The Dr. Never came. I was in there for 45mins. I had to leave because I had already been there since 730am and its why I booked a first appointment of the day, so I could allow for the most time for my eyes to recover before work. My husband took off work to drive me. There were other patients just sitting waiting in the exam rooms as I passed by. No Dr. in the offices either. The Dr. was not even there. No one in the office said 'hey he is running late' or, 'hey we dont know'. I left. I choose to go to another DR. I never received a phone call either or apology. Remember our time is just as important. Have some respect for that.

This has to be the most beautifully decorated medical office I have ever been in. There are fresh flowers, lovely wall art and soothing classical music piped into the waiting areas. The staff is so welcoming, friendly and helpful. Dr. Balouris is most skilled in his medical practices. He was very reassuring and put me to ease immediately. There were no hidden costs and he was familiar with my insurance and any questions I had. I have to say because of all the positivity and good energy, my experience was most outstanding. I highly recommend him on every level.
