This guy is a joke. He was running an hour behind on his appointments and then had an attitude. He has no interest in developing a relationship with his patients. Look elsewhere...you can do better.

Unfortunately this is a negetive review with an ongoing issue where my stepson's doctor , David Macaluso does not follow through with his care and has ordered bloodwork and lost results TWICE. Dr Macaluso is impossible to speak to on the phone as he won't answer calls nor return any of the messages left for him. We are hoping to try and resolve at least some of these issues with today's visit. I hope I can leave a positive review after today's appointment.

Dr. Macaluso does not listen to his patient, is very loud and brusque. All info taken by resident who was better to talk with. Not a pleasant experience with Dr. Macaluso.

Fantastic endocrinologist that stays up to date with current treatments and advances in the field of diabetes. He is part of a well rounded team that treats all aspects of the diabetic patient.

Please do not seek treatment with this provider for thyroid conditions. He is only interested in lab ranges for TSH, and not the patient’s symptoms and experience with current thyroid meds. I could get the same from my PCP! I opted to leave immediately during the first appointment upon realizing his intent, rather than continue with his out-dated approach.

This guy is a joke! If you have Thyroid issues, don't even bother, he doesn't get it! Very short, has resident ask questions and doesn't follow up. Didn't listen to anything I said about strong family history, including cancer. This also includes previous surgery of my own. Refused to treat Hashimoto even though lab work and ultrasound clearly showed there's a problem

Dr Macaluso is exceptional! He has corrected my thyroid issue, something another local endocrinologist did not recognize. I had been over-treated by medications which was causing other health issues. His bedside manner is exceptional as well. He always takes time with me and follow-up is very timely. I would and have, recommended him to others.
