Dr.John Dailey's clinical competence, thoroughness, and kindness was beyond my highest expectations. He did my cataract surgery 13 years ago with great results and I returned to him recently for a condition solved easily with laser treatment. Given the decline of the humanistic aspects of healthcare today, experiencing the best of what it actually could and should be was a joy and an inspiration.

Dr. Harvey did my cataract surgery and another opthalmalogist later said he did a good job. However, pre-surgery there was no discussion of the impact a corneal astigmatism could have on my satisfaction with the results. After five years of complaining about my vision and juggling 3 pairs of glasses, I went elsewhere. There I learned that you can have both a lens astigmatism and a corneal astigmatism and they may even correct for each other. When you replace the lens you can have worse vision in that eye than before. So I was going to need glasses, no matter what, and I wasted my money on multifocals. I'm not sure if corneal astigmatism can be distinguished from lens astigmatism on examination so I don't know how much to blame Dr. Harvey. But my astigmatism was a known fact and the risk of a remaining astigmatism after the surgery would have made me choose monofocals. My solution was trifocals that correct the astigmatism at all focal lengths.

I have to say he is a very caring and understanding Doctor No rush, he listens to you and takes the time to explain what he is doing I don't always feel relaxed around doctors But I did around him. He is one of the good ones

Dr Harvey and staff are excellent. They always fit me in when having problems. Cataract surgery was simple and explained in detail. Dr Harvey called that evening to check on me.

Dr. Harvey examined my husband on a Friday, diagnosed him as having closed angle glaucoma with very high & dangerous eye pressure and performed laser iridotomy surgery to relieve same the following Monday, which along with prescribed eye drops, brought the eye pressure down to safe levels until cataract surgery could be performed. He was very professional. We highly recommend him. The steep slope driveway entrance the office is very difficult for those who can't walk well, however.

Dr. Harvey is a very compassionate and caring Dr. My husband had many health issues and he was always patient, gentle, and caring with him.
