She is second opinion for my sister cancer and I cannot find anyone who is more responsive, more up to date and more genuine than Dr Sachelarie.

I was seeing her for a hematology related issue. I got all the testing she suggested and still no diagnosis. Unfortunately, I suffered a significant health event which other physicians attributed to my blood issue. I emailed her office to inform them of this event and ask questions. The only responses I received were from her medical staff who told me she was informed of the issue and there couldn’t be a connection between the two. When I pressed the issue, I was told I needed to make an appointment to see her. At the appointment, she entered the room with attitude the size of Texas and stated that she no longer wanted to treat me. She would be referring me to another hematologist. How very unprofessional and dare you question her about YOUR medical care! Coincidentally, the issue I experienced was directly related to my blood and I’m currently being treated.

Was told she no longer wanted me as a patient bc I asked why she had to go over every medication I may but probably won’t need and their side effects at every visit. She looks at a “cheat sheet often when speaking with us. Usually this cheat sheet is a piece of scrape paper!

Who cancels a cancer patient? Dr Sachelarie does!!! She canceled my appointment today without a call so I could reschedule. I left construction criticism 6 months ago and apparently she can only handle fantastic comments! Told her she took way too long explaining medicine and possible side effects I DID NOT need. So sophomoric Dr S canceled me wasting more of our time. All appointments took way to long to see her and appointment also took way to long! 1.5 hours is ridiculous!

I have been seeing Dr. Sachelarie for several years, she is an excellent hematologist/oncologist and has always been very up front with me (which is important.) I have had an MPN since 2008. I have been told that I also have CLL in combination with Polycythemia. I would highly recommend Dr. Sachelarie.

My mother was originally seeing another doctor in this practice and I think it’s time for him to retire . We were referred back to this office to see Dr. Sachelarie and she is absolutely an amazing specialist. She is personable , highly educated , and really gets to know her patients history and explains the how’s and why’s. She was so good with identifying and getting my mother the treatments she should have had that I transferrrd from another practice to also be under her care.
