After experencing a nasty fall on May 15th I was referred to your clinic. I can honestly say it was worth the wait. The treatment was A plus and l was treated well. I have recovered and I thank you for your care.
Arrogant disorganized and misdiagnosed me
Did a great job with my shoulder!! Was in great hands.
Dr Shaffer was very thorough and professional. He tested the issue I am having and there is definite improvement. I was very impressed with him and the entire staff I dealt with at OIP in Carlisle.
Dr Shaffer took very good care of me. He listened to my concerns and allowed me to participate in the decision that my treatment would take. My knees feel much better.
Outstanding medical service, timely, future forward. I left OIP with an understanding of the knee pain and how to deal with it. Dr Sharffer very professional and took time to talk with me about the future and what to expect. The cortisone shot worked. Thank you over and over again
I saw Dr Shaffer for my left rotator cuff. The pain of lifting my arm was keeping me from preforming easy task. After some physical testing and medical history questions. It was decided my treatment should include a shot to relieve the inflammation then physical therapy. Dr. Shaffer was very professional and caring. I would recommend him for anyone having issues with there shoulders.
Unprofessional. Seems races. Thinks I am lying about my pain. Dr. Walks around in tight cloths with chest hair hanging out. I went there for workers compensation for my injured knee. Showed up the day of my surgery and they told me the Dr. Cancled it because he couldn't get ahold of me the day before surgery.. THE DR. COULD NOT GET AHOLD OF ME BECAUSE MY PHONE WAS TURNED OFF DO TO NOT HAVING MONEY! WHICH IS WHY I WAS THERE FOR WORK COMPENSATION!! I already explained this prior to the Dr. I had to use the last of my dollars for gas that day. Ok so I tried to make another appointment asap because I am in pain and need to get back on my feet to provide for my family and these people told me they have have no dates to give me! My lawyer also calls me to tell me that, not having the surgery before my court date might affect my case.. thank you for a waist of time, resources, and energy. Horrible place is destroying my life
Dr. Shaffer was very professional and thorough explaining my knee surgery. I felt very comfortable with him. Surgery was successful and although I didn't enjoy therapy, the end result is great. No pain.
He was attentive and explained all of my options. I ended up having to get surgery and he accommodated my religious preferences for how I wanted to handle blood transfusing should I need it I have had had challenges with physicians not respecting my beliefs in the past. I would recommend anyone see Dr Shaffer. My hip was a success I was back to practice putting in two weeks and I was back to golfing in less than six weeks.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
