List of St. Lukes Coopersburg Center Valley Family Practice's Reviews
I have been going here for about 15 years. Laura awesome and goes above and beyond. I have seen all of the Providers here and they are all great. All their staff has always been attentive and professional.
The providers have so far been nice, but the lady I spoke to at the reception desk today on 1/25/2023 at 10 a.m. (wore her hair in a clip on the top of her head) was extremely rude during both the check-in and check-out process.
Have been going here for a few years and it has been okay at best. Today I had a Tele visit for Covid because I am having tightness in my chest. I was told to go to urgent care for a chest xray and ekg and they would send the order. So I went there and they didn't have any order so I call the office and they said they will send it right over. A few minutes later the office calls me and said OH Laura wanted you to see the doctor at urgent care. I check in and they send me out to my car to wait...15 minutes later a nurse from Urgent care calls me and tells me that I am better off going to the ER and she doesn't know why they tell people to go to urgent care when they should have just sent me to the ER. I don't think anyone would appreciate getting the run around when they are not feeling well and are trying to do the right thing and not spread Covid Germs. I can understand if it was 2020,the beginning of the pandemic but this is 2 years in!!!
Very professional staff and very personable..a plus! Great office and no wait. The best practice 👌
The staff is always warm and friendly. Lynn Birney, the nurse practitioner is a treasure!
Thank you St. Lukes for handling this and correcting the error. Can't even begin to describe how disappointed I am with this practice and how they handled my appointment through a very difficult time. Was a patient for several years and will not be returning or recommending. Really very upsetting.
Back in February of 2012 I was having issues and had not seen a doctor in 19 years, my older brother had medical issues and I wasn't a doctor person, so had no choice but to cave in, and I because of Laura I now go, reading some of the reviews on her there isn't nothing she doesn't do for her patients, she cares. My mom has been seeing Dr. Alkasov since 2013, she switched over from Pennsburg Family Practice and loves her. My brother because of his insurance has to get a wellness check every year and sees Lynn, and likes her also.
I've been going here for years. They always see me quickly. Lynne Byrne Is a great NP! She slows down and pays attention to what's going on. My wife has seen Dr Alkasov many times. She has also been very pleased with her care.
Had to come to this place 3/4 times when it could've all been taken care of in 1 visit. The first time, the nurse failed to give me all the shots necessary to fill out my green card application so I had to come back, but that wasn't a big issue. Once I came back, a different nurse was very rude and defensive when I asked if the record she gave me included all the information I needed. She shoved the paper in my face and said she knew what she was doing. Guess what... I had to come back again because the record she gave me was missing stuff...
Been going to this place for many years even before it became St. Luke's. I honestly cant believe a doctor would tell a patient not to call her again just because a cant get in for a doctor's visit to renew a prescription. I am perfectly healthy and live a distance away. All she is worried about is herself. The healthcare industry is a mess.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
