He described it as making the room we were sitting large enough so that we "the nerves" would feel less crowded. The MILD made a lot of sense because stenosis is a physical/anatomical problem, so you want a physical fix instead of a chemical fix with injections. He is actually fixing the stenosis. After the MILD, mom is now able to walk around the pond and she can now stand in the kitchen! She hasnt stood to cook in 3 years and now she is cooking again! This makes her so happy! We are forever grateful for Dr Fang's help in giving mom her life and energy back! I feel so guilty that we spent the last 6 years running around in circles with other docs that only caused her more pain. I normally dont write reviews unless I had a bad experience but had to write this because Dr Fang is so special. If you have pain, please don't waste time. Time is irreplaceable. See Dr. Fang as soon as you can.

My mother is an anxious mess and most docs will cut her off before she is finished. Dr Fang really listened to her concerns. He explains things in an easy to understand way. He described us sitting in the room as the spinal cord inside the spinal canal and that stenosis meant we were uncomfortable because the room was too small and squeezing us up against each other. My mother has PTSD from past painful injections but trusted him enough to try again. He was like a magician at distracting her through the injection. I was surprised she did not howl even once like she did with all her previous docs. His epidurals helped more than other doctor's but she still had pain so Dr Fang did the MILD procedure (minimally invasive lumbar decompression). For the procedure we had to go to the surgical center but it only took him 15 minutes to do. 7 days later at the follow up we could not even find the incision!

Hi Dr Fang. Hope you and your family are doing well during the pandemic. I am in so much pain and hope you start doing procedures again soon. I did go see another pain doctor while you are away and the injection she gave me didn't help at all and made my pain worse. Please come back soon!

At the recommendation of a friend, I recently saw Dr. Fang for a second opinion regarding a variety of musculoskeletal issues a few months ago. At the initial visit, Dr. Fang listened to my concerns, reviewed with me my imaging, examined me, performed an ultrasound. He explained everything to me and I can tell he understands my problems better than my past two pain doctors, who were just happy to continue the pain medications I have been on since my accident in 2000. With Dr Fang's addition of topical medications, therapy, injections, acupuncture and opioid rotation and weaning I find myself able to do things I have not been able to do in 2 decades. I have been able to sleep better, walk twice a day for 1/2 mile around the pond, and finally play with an pick up my grandbabies!!! Dr Fang is a godsend. He has helped me get my life back and I have all the faith that he can help you too.

I was referred to Dr. Fang for treatment of nerve entrapment pain in my pelvic area. I have found him to be one of the most kind and compassionate physicians involved in my care. He possesses a wealth of knowledge and is skilled at thinking outside of the box. He shows a genuine interest in learning about his patients on a personal level. I’m thankful for the care he is providing for me. His coworkers speak very highly of him and it’s clear that they have an abundance of respect for him and the work that he does. I would highly recommend Dr. Fang to anyone looking for compassionate healthcare.

Best doctor we have ever had. He is very personable, honest, and knowledgeable. He says it is an absolute privilege to care for my 93-year old mother. I know he means it because he is able to recall every conversation they ever had and his face always lights up when he sees her. It makes her so happy. He distracts her so well with conversation that her needle-phobia never sets in and the procedure is done before she knows it. He truly cares for his patients. I have nothing but good things to say about Dr. Fang! We moved away one year ago, but we still make the three-hour drive to see Dr. Fang every few months. We look forward to seeing him every few months because he is the absolute best!

I started seeing Dr. Fang in 2018. I had been suffering with pain in my hips for several years. The pain got increasingly worse under the care of an orthopedic doctor in a ritzy office. When I first went Dr. Fang, I was on crutches, then a cane. Today I walked in to see the doctor with no help. The care is exceptional, and his goal was to make me better. I have feel tears welling up just writing this... I still have a ways to go, but I know I am in capable hands.

Dr. Fang saw my mother for severe full body arthritis, scoliosis and sciatica. We were referred by another patientof his living in the same +55 community. I love the story of how he realized pain medicine was his calling because of him taking care of his grandparents. Everyone should have a grandson like him. I was very impressed with his bedside manner as he explained the plan to our family and how he talked directly to my mom. He set very clear goals and would summarize frequently to make sure everyone understood the plan. He then took the time to speak with me and see if I had any other questions. LOVED the fact he took the time and explained the injury and how to get better. Went back for a check up and he was just as friendly!

Writing a review is not my norm but based upon my personal situation and my visit today, I must say I was humbled by the compassion that was shown to me and the care I received. I have been in a lot of back and leg pain from an injury a few years ago that left me disabled. The procedure was totally painless and my pain has gone from a 7-9 at baseline to a 1-2. His staff was excellent. Their service was superb. A real gentleman.
