Jennifer B. Oconnor's Online Review Report Card

Dr. Jennifer O’Connor at the Souderton office has been my primary care physician for years. She is thorough, knowledgeable and her staff are friendly. She spends that extra few minutes to ask if your family life, exercise and eating are going well. She asks the right questions and orders tests that make sense for your issue. Studies show that female doctors have better health outcomes because they tend to be better listeners. Dr. O’Connor is an example that proves what the studies say.

Dr. O’Connor has been treating My whole family for many years now. She is an excellent doctor she’s kind caring and professional. I wouldn’t trust my children’s or my grandchildren’s care to anyone else. I highly recommend her!!!

Dr O’Connor is an excellent doctor. She’s very thorough and takes the time to get to know her patients. She’s taken care of my entire family for years and we can always count on her to be available when we need her and to get and keep us healthy. I would highly recommend Dr O’Connor to everyone!!

Dr O'Connor has been my primary PCP for close to two years now! She has always attended to me with unquestionable care and compassion! A genuine smile is what accompanies her welcome remarks to her patients! Above all she understands how to handle culture in diversity! I'm a person of colour but have always got the best experience! Dr Oconnor is amazing. She’s dedicated and thorough. Always takes the time to get all the details and makes sure patients feel 100.% comfortable. I’d literally trust her with my life !!!

She did not keep me safe and so I left her as my doctor. She kept sending me my prescriptions without talking to me about them or checking on me...I called and told her it was illegal and they finally stopped. Terrible terrible place.

Aside from (2) issues my review of this practice would be a 5. (1)It is extremely awkward to ask even relative simple questions through typed communication via the Patient Portal.... ones which are easier to answer through other methods. Like a phone call. Now that the doctor and I have batted a question back in forth a couple of times online, I still need it clarified over the phone. This is a lot of wasted time/effort. One miss typed word changes the entire meaning of one's communication. (2) As a patient, I'm still under the believe that calling me about my results is a much better method than me stumbling upon them online. Especially, when I'm relatively new to your practice and how you handle results. Even when the results are negative or unremarkable. Other than those (2) issues, Dr. O'Connor is a wonderful physician. A doctor I now feel is on the same page I am.... with regards to not doing what a previous PCP has done. I'm seen pretty quickly when need be. There has never been a long wait in the office. She is thorough during the exam and quite sincere in that effort. The office staff worked diligently to get records from Abington Memorial Hospital.... while I waited for the visit pertaining to that stay. To that pt, Dr. O'Connor has made great referrals when care needed is outside her scope of practice. Aside from (2) issues my review of this practice would be a 5. I've been a patient of Dr. O'Connor's for about 10 years now. I've unfortunately had some serious high BP issues, and several trips to the hospital for really out of control BP. Dr. O'Connor has always been a very kind, sincere doctor, and a very investigative doctor who is always there for me. She takes great care, and is never upset even when I had to contact her at home when she was on call. She always gets to the bottom of things, thinking about each symptom and test result to identify what is wrong. I highly recommend her and her staff which are always busy, but wonderful! I am very grateful for the fantastic care, and follow up calls that I get. I highly recommend this office for anyone who really wants a GREAT Doctor and Staff! Much Thanks and Blessings to you all. Dr o Conner has been a great doctor since I started seeing her . I have referred numerous people to her because I believe she takes the time to listen to issues and always follows up when needed .

Dr. O’Connor didn’t check me over properly, even though I went for an annual physical checkup. She breezed through the entire appointment. She didn’t even check my ear, nose, and throat with the otoscope, so I asked her about it. She laughed and said, “You’re not a kid anymore, you don’t need it!” She said it in a belittling tone that ruined my mood. I cannot respect her as a doctor if she talks to anyone that way. The entire appointment was filled with remarks that were utterly insulting. She i
