Dr. Chatzinoff grossly misdiagnosed my wife. After an incomplete work up that did not tell the whole story, he was quick to prescribe an anti-depressant, chalking the GI issues up to irritable bowel syndrome. If he had done a complete workup and actually listened to the presenting symptoms, delays in care could have been avoided. My wife was finally diagnosed with ulcerative colitis and primary sclerosing cholangitis by another GI provider at another health system. She is now on the proper medications, doing very well and following up closely with two specialists. I would not recommend anyone receive care by Dr. Chatzinoff.

Interestingly enough if you scroll through the comments you will find a similar neg. review regarding another parent and their 18 year child and their negative experience. I accompanied my 19 year old son for a 2nd opinion with Dr. Chatzinoff due to stomach issues for over 5 years. I was there to support my son and help paint the picture for the dr. and had hope that this man may have a way to help him. As soon as I walked in he was demeaning and rude to me. He told me that he was going to talk to my son and not me and I should not interrupt. I tried to fill in a blank and he threatened to kick me out of the room. I wanted to tell him it is not ok to talk to a parent this way. There are nicer ways to say hey I want to hear what your son feels and get a good picture without being mean and degrading and making me feel horribly uncomfortable. I was so embarrassed that he was treating me this way in front of my son. I should have stood up for myself. After leaving my son told me how rude the staff was to him when he first arrived since he got there first. I have been to many drs. and offices, I have never been degraded like I was today. I will never use or recommend Dr. Chatzinoff or this office. Good luck to you if you choose him.
