Both times I saw him he said no more than 10 words to me. Had some trouble about a year later and he literally told me to get online and try to seek help there. Said seeing if I have adhd wasn't in his scope of practice. I then said no one in the whole behavioral health facility treats adhd? He then said he'd have his nurse refer me to someone. Idk if he doesn't like overweight people and he is being rude and not helpful due to that or if he shouldn't be a doctor period, but I wouldn't recommend him to anyone.

Dr. Faruqui is kind, competent, and very knowledgeable. He has been working with me for years to manage my depression and anxiety. I've recommended him to all my friends. He's not afraid to say no, or to be firm when it's necessary.

If you are LGBT, overweight, or a woman I would not recommend him. Honestly I wouldn't recommend him to anyone as he made me so uncomfortable and upset that I made a complaint for the first time ever. I also switched to a different provider. I felt like he was examining me as an insect and not as a person, along with being very insulting and cold. He made comments about my weight, my sexuality, and my disabilities. I will never recommend him to anyone. Avoid, avoid, avoid.

Dr Faruqui is a very good doctor. I have been seeing him for about 8 months and he has helped tremendously. He listens and asks a lot of questions.

Dr. Faruqui provides exceptional care. He is aware of the client’s needs and seeks to provide the best treatment possible. I have recommended him to several persons who were looking for a qualified doctor.

He doesn't listen to what you are saying, and is very judgemental. If you don't agree with him or if you just question something he says, he will get very defensive. I wouldn't recommend him to anyone. I know he's semi-new to the job, but I feel he should get continuing education for "bedside manner" so to speak.
