List of MIchael Campoli Md's Reviews
I went in to see Dr. Campoli for a simple Moh's procedure for a small mole on my chest. He was friendly as was his staff, however he left me with a HUGE scar on the upper left side of my chest and stitched me so poorly that large marks are now visible from where the stitches were. I've since talked to other friends and family members who have had this procedure and they have no marks/scarring like this! I have had stitches in the past for much wider cuts and the scars are not half the size. I would NEVER recommend this doctor to perform Moh's on anyone else. He's a complete butcher. Please take my advice and go elsewhere!
Minimizes concerns and did hack job. Egotistical and makes you feel stupid.
He did not have the time of day for me. He cut me off before I could tell him what the situation was. He barely did any kind of physical exam, and offered no explanation of what the problem was. I was quite disappointed and upset with the (lack of) care I received. I would NOT recommend this Dr to anyone.
He needs to stop pushing Accutane on teenagers. He also needs to take time to examine his patents. His visit was of no values except for pushing dangerous medicine on kids.
I had a procedure that needed to be done promptly, and he was willing to fit me in to his schedule last minute - including same day surgery. Very impressed, especially because he apparently sees 40 to 60 people a day with a good number of these being surgery. Great doctor! Very impressed!
Took advantage of my psoriasis. 4 months of lightbox treatments didn't work. Should know within 2 months if it would work. Went to a different dermatologist who told me I was scammed. Within 2 weeks on biologics from new dermo, I'm completely clear. Still have to pay over a $3000 bill to this scammer. Be careful!
Dr. Campoli was great to see. He was genuine, caring, and took time to address my concerns.
The Dr quickly glossed over me in anout 2 minutes even though I was there for a full exam. Then he pushed his personally written materials on me. I felt like he was promoting his book and pamphlets and really didn't care at all about my personal health or concerns.
I met with him one year ago when I was 21 (I am a male). I was struggling with mild acne. Dr. Campoli suggested accutane. Fortunately I did not take his advice. Accutane is has been discontinued because of horrible side effects- and pharmaceutical companies are facing lawsuits because of it. Dr. Campoli informed me that I would require blood panels every six weeks should I take it. His suggestion of accutane was completely unwarranted because my acne was mild. I switched to Vadnais Heights dermatology, got a prescription of Amoxicillin and Tretinoin, and my acne was vastly diminished within two weeks. Dr. Campoli was clearly not looking out for my best interest. I believe he viewed me more as a test subject than an actual patient. I would caution patients against visiting him.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
