Update 2: had a direct exposure to a positive covid case. Called the office to get approved to get a test at the hospital. They took my name and said they'd call me back. This was yesterday at 2:30pm. Called again at 9am today and left a VM. My sister called and left a VM too shortly after me. At 12 we called again after not hearing anything and actually got a person. Told them we were exposed 4 days ago and symptomatic and needed a test. She told us to wait a few hours and call the hospital to see if they got the order from the office. We did. The hospital didn't receive it (we called 2.5 hours after talking with the office). We called back to the office and they said because they have been administering vaccines to "dozens" of people today, the doctor hasn't even reviewed our files yet, BUT the order will definitely be there by the end of the day. Absolutely no urgency for a likely positive case. All they have to do is send a fax! Absolutely no regard for anyone's time or safety unless you are a healthy person seeking a vaccine.UPDATE: got a call today that the office is seeing no patients other than covid vaccine recipients before 12pm everyday. They also have no late hours (appts after 5) until the beginning of May. If you can't get in between 12 and 5 because you work or have class, I'd suggest getting a new PCP.Dr. Wahba himself is wonderful. No complaints at all, however, I'm almost never seen at my appointment time. I'm typically called back 15-30 minutes after my appointment was supposed to start even though I typically arrive 10-15 minutes early. If you plan to be seen by this office, I'd recommend calling off or taking a half day as there is no knowing when you will be seen or how long you will be there as there is more waiting to be done when you finally get called back to a room. I took their first appointment at 8:30 one day and stood outside in the freezing weather until someone finally unlocked the door late and then had to wait in the waiting room until the receptionist got in for the day despite being pre-registered. I was assured I would be seen on time as I asked them since I have to be at work at 9.
I agree that Dr Wahba is a fine and caring physician. The staff needs to be tightened up. Needs an experienced office manager. Was given wrong time for procedures to be performed at IRMC.Lastly, the office should not be entirely closed for lunch . Breaks need to be staggered.
I rate Dr. Wahba 5 Stars but his staff, I would rate much lower. I was the yesterday, he ordered me prescriptions that I'm anxious to begin but the pharmacy hasn't received them. I was told by the person he handed the work to that she was going to call them in right then. They haven't been called in yet. It's 11am on the following day after my visit. I was ready to pick them up, called to make sure they er ready, but the Pharmacy hasn't received them. Not happy with Dr. Wahba's STAFF MEMBER that was supposed to call it in. I had another sleepless night due to coughing.
Dr. Wahba is the best doctor I have ever had. He listens to me and takes his time and he makes sure I understand how to take the medication I am on and why I need to take it when I do. I wish all doctors were like Dr. Wahba.
This man saved my life when other doctors wouldn't listen. Best doctor ever!

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
