Tandigm has my contact info and has not responded to me. DO NOT trust their response. ... Run from this group, and save TENS OF THOUSAND OF $$$ out of pocket and receive better care. TO DO THIS: 1) do not participate in an Independence BC / BS Medicare HMO or Advantage plan ( there are plenty of options) , AND YOU MUST find a primary care doctor who is not a Tandigm doctor (so go to Penn Medicine or MainLine where the physicians are salary). If you do not do this, you are so screwed. I am an attorney, and the experience with my mother has been horrid. Tandigm touts costs savings for Medicare while you will take weeks off from work to get appeal decisions 60 to 365 days down the road. Make it easy ... No INDEPENDENCE MEDICARE BC / BC HMO or Advantage, and NO Tandigm PRIMARY CARE DOCTORS. You then retain at least some control over your health care. If I could give Tandigm a negative 10 review, I would. Beware, Holy Redeemer has signed on to this mess, but some of their underpaid doctors and nurses provide excellent care, but Holy Redeemer is constantly understaffed, and there is no investment in rehabilitative care. Think 1980s medicine in almost 2020.

Tandigm does everything in its power to kick people out of facilities so that they can save money for Medicare and Blue Cross, while big bonuses are being handed out and patients' benefits are cut. My mother has had several bad experiences with them and their game is that if you're not progressing you must leave a facility, and they do not care if you have not had the proper therapy or a reasonable amount of therapy in order to be released to your home. They prefer you go home a vegetable, as long as they don't have to pay for inpatient services. They're very proud of the amount of money they're saving Medicare while reducing in-facility stays! It is disgraceful how they treat senior citizens, who deserve to utilize their benefits in order to get home SAFELY! People, be smart, if you want to avoid Tandigm, do not get a Medicare or HMO plan with Independence Blue Cross!! You also need to switch your doctor if he or she is a Tandigm doctor.
